  • What's the deal with the 'snaps, crackles, and pops' on CW recieve? Are these artifacts? Are they 'normal' for a DSP rig? Thanks.

  • @sophiegromit

Of course they are artifacts. I get the same crap on my brand new Pro3 (on CW), and Icom denies it!!!! This radio feels cheaply made, and the lousy sound on CW is reason (if I had only known) this radio is a ripoff and has design flaws. Incidentally, MANY veteran Hams agreed with me, and pointed out the same flaws. Icom should issue FULL REFUNDS and a RECALL on this rig to ALL who bought it, and are dissatisfied!

  • I'm guessing the signal gets better because you programmed it with a noise profile containing a recording of the frequency with no one transmitting, then when somebody keys up, it just takes the FFT difference.

  • che bello trattalo bene :-)

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • grande

    bello e potente

  • Grande ricetrasmettitore!!!
