I wish Robert had put that rude bartender in his place, as well as Finch. If Robert had listened to him and the town, he would have married Carrie and now he wants him to go get shot to pieces for no reason in France.

I think when married men get drafted in 1916, Robert would likely choose the Navy, as it was far less life threatening and he'd be a warrant officer at least with his technical training.
