  • Quel sonorité!! C'est sublime..

  • A lot more smokers back then (coughing)

  • why the hell people have to cough so much during quiet parts of music??????????

  • Thanks a lot.

  • This is a true gem. Richter has a unique feel for Bartók and even though there is a plethora of mistakes throughout the two sections, he manages to excite and fascinate though his tempi are controversial. The atmosphere of the Hungarian countryside is vividly captured and his sound is absolutely beautiful.

  • Could ANYONE SHOW ME HOW THE PEASANT PRAYER NO. 40 CAN BE PLAYED? THANKS. JOELLE

  • Megrakjak a tuzet,megis elaluszik!

  • beautiful use of dissonance. Bartok knew a thing or two about harmony...

  • many many thanks, Truecrypt, for this and for all the rest.

  • Thanks, Truecrypt! (:-D) The great Richter in this, one of my favorite works for piano by Bartok. What a fascinating performance this is...languid and far slower in the opening than I have heard before...

  • I enjoyed reading the comments to this movie. This is truly one of Richter's best recordings, while it was never put up in big publicity. I have listened to these pieces now since 20 years as it was that long ago when i first found the record, where they figured as Encores. I had never known about these pieces before. That was how I really entered novelty, and learnt something entirely new and unexpected from Richter, and this went on and on. Richter was my true musical teacher.

  • Absolutely brilliant. Just got a book with these, time to start playing.

  • I luv Bartok s music

  • Спасибо!
