I have read a lot of the comments but not all of them. Has anyone considered that a Mustang is not a cheap. The dirt bag could have sold it or given it back to the finance Co. we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. The scum who murdered Brandon was sentenced on December 5,2010 after only 3 hours of deliberation. Life no parole+25+5+1 The family is doing okay. We miss Brandon with every breath we breath. The children had to grow up way to fast but they have many great memories of their dad. Brandy is coping but misses the love of her life with every breath she breathes. We talk about him and the goofy things he did every day.
NEVER jump into a decision like buying a house or a car, or any large ticket items. Make sure you understand the payment plans, apr, consequences, penalties, all that stuff, BEFORE you sign anything. Make sure you can pay in the long run, not just in the near future. Greedy banks make money off people who stupidly sign things they don't fully understand, they make money off the fine print by screwing you. Find a source on line that explains everything. Don't sign if you don't understand.
For those who think a car isn't that important: when was the last time you tried going to work without a car? Public transportation is nonexistent in all rural areas and most suburbs in the US so a car is mandatory if your job isn't next door. Without a car you can't go to work, lose your job, and starve. @HyperSpify - Nice dramatization. The reality is, if you haven't paid off the vehicle (or other property) in full then you DO NOT own it and have no rights to it. They only repo property that is not even technically yours. It is given to you on the contractual agreement that you will pay it off over time. When you fail in that obligation it gets repossessed. No amount of property is worth shooting someone for, especially when it's your own damn fault. If only more "adults" realized this....

I'm curious about what Justin Moore's financial situation was. In a lot of courts are allowed to take 80% of a man's income in child support and alimony. Now imagine working 2 minimum wage jobs and having 80% of your income taken. It's impossible to live off 20%. You have no choice but defy the courts or get thrown in prison. And defying the courts might require using violent force. Now I don't know if Moore was in such a dire situation, but it would definitely be useful to know.

Everyone knows that times are hard for a lot of people, and whether he was just a thug or a stressed out guy who reached his breaking point, murder is still murder. A good man was killed and another was shot while doing their job. They weren't blood suckers, they were doing their job professionally. A price had to paid for that. His reasons matter very little here. And you're really stretching to try and fill in blanks as to his motives.

I can't figure out human behavior. The Repossession agents were merely doing their jobs.Even if my car was going to be repoed, I wouildn't be upset at them. They are merely doing the job the finance company hired them too do. Killing or harming a person of a stupid car is beyond senseless.
Wow! I'm a repo man in eastern NC and I've seen some bad stuff but nothing could compare to losing a husband, father, friend, and collegue. My name is Brandy Thomas, this video is of my husbands funeral. I would like to thank everyone for there support, prayers, and kindness throughout this whole ordeal. Brandon would have never imagined so many people would come out in such a big show of support for him. Brandon liked his job and all the people up at Hill. He was a big kid, with a huge heart, and just couldn't wait till Christmas. When the kids are older I think this video will be a source of pride for them, I know it is for me.

The man wanted in the murder of a repo man in Fulton County is in custody, caught by U.S. Marshals.
Marshals arrested Moore just after 9 o'clock Tuesday morning on the 3900 block of Flat Shoals Parkway, in DeKalb County.
The marshals, along with a Fulton County police officer, spotted Moore riding as a passenger in a Lexus. Moore saw the officers and, while his car was still moving, bailed out, running into a nearby creek. A brief chase followed and Moore was arrested in the creek.

As soon as I seen the trucks, the tears started and I couldnt stop them. My husband has been a tow truck operator for over 15 years, and we have done countless repos together. we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. The scum who murdered Brandon was sentenced on December 5,2010 after only 3 hours of deliberation. Life no parole+25+5+1 The family is doing okay. We miss Brandon with every breath we breath. The children had to grow up way to fast but they have many great memories of their dad. Brandy is coping but misses the love of her life with every breath she breathes. We talk about him and the goofy things he did every day.

NEVER jump into a decision like buying a house or a car, or any large ticket items. Make sure you understand the payment plans, apr, consequences, penalties, all that stuff, BEFORE you sign anything. Make sure you can pay in the long run, not just in the near future. Greedy banks make money off people who stupidly sign things they don't fully understand, they make money off the fine print by screwing you. Find a source on line that explains everything. Don't sign if you don't understand.

For those who think a car isn't that important: when was the last time you tried going to work without a car? Public transportation is nonexistent in all rural areas and most suburbs in the US so a car is mandatory if your job isn't next door. Without a car you can't go to work, lose your job, and starve. Repoers really shouldn't be seizing such an essential tool. It's like repossessing a handicapped man's wheelchair. Consider the financial context before jumping to conclusions, people.

There is no way to justify what justin moore did and from reading others comments he got a fraction of what he deserved. Unfortunately, outside of locking them up, the US doesn't believe in any kind of torturing of inmates in any apparent way.

@HyperSpify - Nice dramatization. The reality is, if you haven't paid off the vehicle (or other property) in full then you DO NOT own it and have no rights to it. They only repo property that is not even technically yours. It is given to you on the contractual agreement that you will pay it off over time. When you fail in that obligation it gets repossessed. No amount of property is worth shooting someone for, especially when it's your own damn fault. If only more "adults" realized this....

I'm curious about what Justin Moore's financial situation was. In a lot of courts are allowed to take 80% of a man's income in child support and alimony. Now imagine working 2 minimum wage jobs and having 80% of your income taken. It's impossible to live off 20%. You have no choice but defy the courts or get thrown in prison. And defying the courts might require using violent force. Now I don't know if Moore was in such a dire situation, but it would definitely be useful to know.

I would like to say how touching this video was to me. Me and my Father are also "repo-Men". Repo men are extremely dis-repected for the work they do. I would like to let the family of both of these brother know that they are in my prayers. We simply do our jobs day in and day out to pay bills. THIS IS OUR JOB. we dont want your car personally. we just want to give it back to the rightful owners. RIP FALLEN BROTHERS!

This is such a sad story,I too being in the recovery industry can feel for this poor family and the family of the the recovering agent in this case.This should be considered a crime requiring the death penalty to the convicted perpertrators. Thoughts and prayers to these families.This debtor will hopefully be convicted of murder and attempted murder and receive the death penalty. I was a Recovery Agent with ABC Recovery for 6 yrs I never had a gun pulled on me,but I was ran off the road and threatened lots. The laws need to change so we can legally train and carry protection. Wisconsin allows the debtor more rights then the Recovery agent even though you have a court order,this is insane!!! Be safe my Repo Brothers, Shari Wi

It really makes me sick to hear about something like this, our jobs arent easy, and nothing ive EVER repo'd, be it the 09 Mercedes S500, the $500,000 RV, or your $350,000 crab boat, is worth taking my, or anyones elses life over, just as another comment said, i thank god every morning when i get home for being able to be home safe. RIP brother, and a speedy recovery to Willie.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Brandon. His family is in my prayers. I will continue to pray for Willie's recovery. This video was a great tribute to Brandon. My husband repos but he didn't get to go to the funeral. These families have been in our prayers and will continue to be.

Thank You so much for this video. What an awesome tribute to Brandon. Willie will really appreciate it when he gets out of the hospital since he was unable to make it to the funeral. It is amazing how the men and women of this industry come to together when tragedy strikes. Our hearts and sincere apologies go out to Brandy and Brandon's family. Willie wants everyone to know that he did everything he could possibly do to keep them both safe and to keep Brandon out of harm's way.

Willie should be coming home tomorrow. The Dr said he would write an order for discharge in the morning. I am hoping and praying and crossing my fingers because I am so ready to just be done with Grady hospital. We appreciate all the love, support and prayers from everyone during this very very difficult time.

My name is Brandy Thomas, this video is of my husbands funeral. I would like to thank everyone for there support, prayers, and kindness throughout this whole ordeal. Brandon would have never imagined so many people would come out in such a big show of support for him. Brandon liked his job and all the people up at Hill. He was a big kid, with a huge heart, and just couldn't wait till Christmas. When the kids are older I think this video will be a source of pride for them, I know it is for me.

Although I didnt find out about Brandon's death till after the funeral, I wanted to pass along condolences to his wife and two kids from all Brandons old World of Warcraft friends on Bonechewer... while we haven't been in touch with B for a year, we still all miss him and will continue to recall his rants in vent with fondness. Thanks for posting this video, although I'm in BC, Canada, it's helped me to say goodbye to B.

The man wanted in the murder of a repo man in Fulton County is in custody, caught by U.S. Marshals.
Marshals arrested Moore just after 9 o'clock Tuesday morning on the 3900 block of Flat Shoals Parkway, in DeKalb County.
The marshals, along with a Fulton County police officer, spotted Moore riding as a passenger in a Lexus. Moore saw the officers and, while his car was still moving, bailed out, running into a nearby creek. A brief chase followed and Moore was arrested in the creek.

UPDATE: U.S. Marshals have apprehended the "suspect", 29 year old Justin Moore, in Dekalb County, Georgia this morning (November 17th). We'll post updates as they come. Thank you for continuing to support this story as well as the many prayers for Willie Thackston and the family of Brandon Thomas.
