my ps2 plays every fucking stupid disc except for the best one there is in the world god of war 2 anyone have a similar problem i'm in need of some big ass help.

mine one can read only certain DVD games..such as Guitar hero and other fighting games(low resolution and memory usage)...but when come to adventure game like GOW2 and Radiata castle argahh it gives me shit.....the Radiata quite ok at first but when it enters fighting stage,,,its freez ....GOW2 is tthe worst none of it can be read or load...
but when i play it on the slim PS2....it loads smoothly...could somebody help me...my uncle said the disc reader needs to be change to a new.really??helpme

You can not fix a disc you can only make a copy of it and hope it works. WHen a disc is kind of dirty use clear alcholt. YOu can not fix nor repair you can only clean or make a copy.

* Put a little warm water on the disc. * apply a little toothpaste to your cloth * rub (as directed) over the scratched area and around it. If you have a lot of scratches then you should do the whole disc. 10-15 swipes from inside to out should do the trick. * rinse the toothpaste off * allow the disc to air dry
