  • axoll- yeah, leave the top off 65-75% so that dimethyl sulfide evaporates and doesnt leave a shitty corn starch taste in your beer. scooping off the 'hot break' is a good idea, too. dont forget to sanitize your counterflow chiller.

  • great videos all six of them.....one question :when boiling I thought you were supposed to leave the top off , there is a chemical , I cant remember what its called, that is supposed to boil away otherwise it is going to remain in your beer and change the flavor.
