@Shekanahh Everyone matures at their own rates. Of course, true believers will strive to become like him, but it's full of challenges and temptations. We'll all still sin, but less and less as we mature and grow in our relationship with God. We don't automatically become Jesus when we're saved, it takes time.

Wishful thinking. If God is real, he sure does a good job of stomping on my heart personally. I lost my oldest nephew in a skiing accident, I lost my grandmother, and I just lost my aunt after suffering for months within a 5 month stretch. God as you call it just wants your money.. There is a lot we don't know from a scientific standpoint, and a lot we will never know. One thing I do know, is that the Christian religion along with many others is filled with many similarities. I have been a porn addict since I was just 13. I am eighteen and I still have a hard time. My father was the only Christian, and he didn't act like the Father I needed him to be. My mother was closed, and my step father became my worst nightmare. I was alone, lost, and dead to everyone. Last nite, I had dream of heaven and when the raputre came. I rarely remember dreams like I did this one. My family and I were together with my passed away family and we were happy and rejoicing to God. We were perfect and I felt good in the dream. But not only did I feel good in the dream, but I felt a calmness while I was sleeping that I wish I always had. So, I can;t wait till that day when I can have that feeling again. HOPE IS COMING AND I CANT WAIT UNTIL THAT DAY IT COMES

Wishful thinking. If God is real, he sure does a good job of stomping on my heart personally. I lost my oldest nephew in a skiing accident, I lost my grandmother, and I just lost my aunt after suffering for months within a 5 month stretch. God as you call it just wants your money.. No atheist ever blew up a building to my knowledge. I'd accept it easier if it was more accepting and tolerant. Gays are people too, but they still don't have equal rights. If he is real, he hates my guts.

@thewilliam206 it is not that I can't stand that they believe in something beside Jesus, it is that as a Christian we are told to tell the WORLD about JESUS, this means even people who believe in other gods and religions. It is not coming from a place of HATE but from a place of LOVE and OBEDIENCE. Jesus said that there is no other way to the Father but through Him (John 14:6). Either He is telling the truth or He is telling a lie. I believe Him, trust Him, and love Him; so I share Him.

@2122lovelife "He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him" It is hard to get into that place in the midst of the trial but I find praising Him helps. I find songs like "Bring the rain" or "Homesick" by Mercy me help me praise. Pain that is emotional pain He can heal, in fact any kind of pain is easy for Christ to heal, but sometimes He lets us walk through it for Him, because others we will meet will walk this pain alone. Last nite, I had dream of heaven and when the raputre came. I rarely remember dreams like I did this one. My family and I were together with my passed away family and we were happy and rejoicing to God. We were perfect and I felt good in the dream. But not only did I feel good in the dream, but I felt a calmness while I was sleeping that I wish I always had. So, I can;t wait till that day when I can have that feeling again. HOPE IS COMING AND I CANT WAIT UNTIL THAT DAY IT COMES
