Man... Where is this guy now?! Mundus survived this encounter! We never learn what became of him, but he swore revenge and he should follow though! Arius and Despair Embodied pale in comparison, Vergil is awsome but just not as awe-worthy, Sid and Abagail are worth awing over but not as awsome and Sanctus can suck it. Bring this insane lord of darkness back so we can finish him once and for all!

Kudos. Awesome video. Your style of gameplay is very similar to my own when it came to this game in that we're trying damn near every way not to get hit. I too beat this game many years ago & recorded it on a VHS. I think it was a flawless Mundus battle but of course I used the Untouchable star to get the fight over with as quickly as possible. I'm on the verge of uploading it onto youtube. I respect those who do these videos. Mad Props!

@theloyl1 I've even beaten mundus without getting a single hit, even in DMD mode, it's very possible, after you play enough times, it does become a little easier. I can't do the S grade run though all stages though,

I'd be glad to see your video, always good to see the first devil may cry being played. I might as well go play it again, I still have the DVD, it's been a few long years...

@a1prototype ...I digress. Your style was much better than my own. After seeing my old video I realized that my style of gameplay back then was just to get the job done by any means necessary. I must've confused it with my current style of gameplay which is a lot like your video. More methodical while averting danger.

how did you record using a vcr then record using a dvd and what programs did u use

@Zero29011 i took the old vhs to a video store, It cost me around 5$, I don't know what he used to do it. It was an old vhs and a lot of the footage couldn't be salvaged.
