What a joy she is magnificent; fantabulous spell bounding. THANK you dear one for sharing your talent with Humanity. Pure GOLD. Namaste' Played with elegance. Frank Zappa is looking down at you in awe. :-))))))
@musicisthebestF You dont need it of course, but youd be silly to think the quality isnt better with better gear. One of the most important parts of being a musician is finding a tone that resonates with you.
@musicisthebestF Frank would've loved her tone. He loved that "ugly" sound and there are plenty of Zappa solos that have pretty "ugly" tones. This is pretty remarkable!
Really cool - I wish I could play that well. No, I don't really - I'm WAY too self-satisfied for that! XDDDD But seriously though, max respect...you're a great guitarist bordering on virtuoso I'd say. If you're not doing it for a living, you should!
Frank Zappa Meets Lawrence Welk via ShredGuitarGirl. You're just the kind of girl Frank and Lawrence use to love !!! This idea just came to mind: how about you on guitar and Tal Walkenfield on bass ??? Maybe video conferencing (jamming). It would be something else to keep us fans happy ??? Yours truly, Huge Mangus, "Live" in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
Sinister Footwear is very typical of Frank Zappa's musical world - both musically complex and almost cartoon-like at the same time, it has been recorded by an orchestra and performed in a rock arrangement by a number of his touring bands. It brings together music from many disparate sources, including a guitar solo that was orchestrated into a grandiose closing movement. And it has a silly name. - The Living Composition
thats the sexiest thing I have ever seen or hear of a woman doing. Sinister footwear second movement is one of my favourite pieces of music ever. Maybe i'm no the only person under 30 who listens to Zappa. Theres hope yet for world
I could not believe nor my eyes nor my ears! Fantastic playing! Frank Zappa's Sinister Footwear! Greetings from Lithuania. Are you a profesional musician?
you make me love zappa now it's simply pure experimental great music with some atonal lick it's just so fantastic this guy is a genius and you an excelllent guitar player
This is a very complicated piece of Franks, to say the least. Wow!!! I don't think I would have the confidence to to pull this one off. Ur really quick and precise!!! Unbelievable. I have a version of me playing "WATERMELON IN EASTER HAY", up on my page if u want to check it out. U've given me some inspiratio to tackle some of his more difficult pieces. R u playing Zappanale in Germany?
Very nice. I would very much like to see you play the most challenging parts without the backing track. Perhaps another video post?
Are you using Frank's record as your backing track?
Also your video camera unfortunately has some latency. It's hard to tell what you're playing or what picking techniques you are employing. Looks like Frank Gambale style economy picking.
Excellent music... Excellent guitar playing... Thats some of the hardest music to remember and play and I love what you,ve done here. Hope to hear more of you playing Franks music... I wish you good luck.
I love every Zappa album, Apostrophe is awesome, Zappa In New York is great, Shut Up n' Play Yer Guitar Some More, Lumpy Gravy etc, they are all so good. Zappa's the best :)
@ShredGuitarGirl Nice Covers! Gotta love a girl who plays Zappa. I have a ton of his original label vinyl records that I have collected over the years. I of course have CD's of him too for playing.
@ShredGuitarGirl Can't forget Hot Rats, Waka Jawaka, The Grand Wazoo, Burnt Weeny Sandwich, One Size Fits All, Zoot Allures, Studio Tan...who am I kidding....EVERY ALBUM!!!!!!!

She is proof that the player makes the sound with her hands and skill on the guitar
not the Amp and not the guitar
So you dont need a 1000 $ guitar and a 1000 $ AMP
A 300 $ Guitar and a 300 $ AMP might be enough

@qwerty123123ify
I know that better gear has a HUGE influence on your tone and sound
its like over 60 % of the Tone and sound the Rest is Skill and Technique and fingershape
I know that stuff because i am a BIG Paul Gilbert and Joe Satriani Fan
my Tone Gods are Andy Timmons and Eric Johnson

@BrainPolice5
I know every guitar Solo of Frank being officailly recorded by him from 1969 to 1984
and yes i love his "ugly" Tone especially on the Joe s Garage CD and the Them or Us CD
I also love his Tone on Zomby Woof and the Song Apostrophe
Check Out the youtube video Chungas Revenge 1980 Paris he wears an Hawai Shirt in that the Tone is great in that one

Why is this video not in Real Time ?
Or is your camera to slow to capture your speed ?
Serious question
By the Way thanks for making this, this is one of my Favorite Zappa Songs
