IIRC they used several mics to record the sounds at various distances to get the echoes right.

Though my favorite sound is the voiceover: (*explosion) HOLY COW!

Well... since the makers of MOH can't really play the full edited tracks of these weapon recordings, we'll have to listen to this making of -quality of a videocamera mic. So that's why the sounds on this video aren't that good. But these are definitely the ones that we can hear playing Airborne.

I agree 100%. I don't know why they do that. I used to work on a gunnery range I hear no comparison to these weapons.

Actually, that *is* the audio from the camera's onboard mic. There's a limit to how well a mic like that can capture cacophonous gunfire.

I agree as well. these sounds are nothing like the real deal. The original MoH had most of the realistic gun sounds. At least there the garand, BAR or the M1A1 Thompson had a loud echo and U really fuckin felt that Ur shooting something

42 has better firepower and its cheaper, but the mg 34 has better accuracy and it costs more.

Haha the shotgun, if you saw it towards the later part of the video, was a modern day one, not some WW2 era weapon. Still cool as heck though!

That would explain why in the game the actual shotgun doesn't reload correctly. They were using a modern one jus tto get the sound not use it to test function. Great game tho, buy it man, I love it. Very gun realistic.
