@pradipjalore according to ICC's rules, if a batsman hits or even nicks the ball and then runout by any fielder or the keeper himself, its a RUNOUT! "stumped" is a kind of dismissal only when the batsman has not hit the ball !

as soon as collingwood hit the ball he set off for a run... within 1-1.5 secs he saw the forward short leg fielder (kaifu) has gathered the ball... collingwood tries to make his ground after that... so it is a RUN OUT... if there was no attempt of run it would have been a STUMPING...

All those who think only wicket keepers cause stumpings are wrong!!!
