Listen, OLYMPIC Athletes have been caught juicing, because they made mistaked in timetable of what they were taking, it happens in all sport, and LOTS of top athletes in mma will use supplements to aid them in training, and usually try and time it between doping tests..

Barnett is right about Fedor having not trained properly for years. Fedor used to have all the moves but has been relying on that right hand too much in his past few fights. He finally ran into a giant that he couldn't knockout and basically had no plan B. Fedor's bread-and-butter move in Pride was throwing the right hand and lunging forward to take the guy down. Perhaps success, fame, $, etc. has made Fedor complacent.

Ive watched Fujita since he started in mma. Catch wrestling, Sambo or American wrestling is a great base but there's a big difference when you apply it to mma. Not to mention ring vs Octogon..Cain took Brock down during the scramble..Call it what you want..The bottom line is Cain mixes up is striking and wrestling really well and I think he's too fast for Overeem. Cain would beat him to the position to get him down. Just like how GSP does it against NCAA All American wrestlers.
For me Josh B is the american version of Fedor if i can say it that way. He so smart and i love watching his fights. Only 1 fighter has been able to bear him hard which is PRIME crocop when he was at top K-1 striking level and could use both his legs and like Josh said styles make fights.
I really believe Josh will bitch slap Rogers around and he will reach the finale however he will have difficulties winnng the finale but we will see. Regardless what Josh is a monster fighter!

@mma850 Cain could take anyone down especially Overeem. Rogers and Duffee arent wrestlers and they arent even top fighters yet. Cain takes down Brock who is bigger and stronger than Overeem and is a high level wrestler. Overeem's striking wouldnt be as effective cause he will be too worried about the takedowns. Not saying Overeem couldnt win but any top wrestler with some decent striking would give Overeem problems.
Man everyone keeps saying this tourny is the best collection of heavyweights in the world, but that's just not true. Arlovski and barnett are at about the same level as cro cop and big nog. And look at how well they're doing in the ufc. Then you have Rogers, Bigfoot, and sergei. Who in their right mind would say they're better than velazquez, dos Santos, and carwin? 1. Cain is faster but he hasn't really got any knockout power. Carwin can put someone out with not even a proper punch, skillwise-talking. Barnett would almost be relevant to the sport of MMA if he was anything more than a dirty pisser. Barnett is right about Fedor having not trained properly for years. Fedor used to have all the moves but has been relying on that right hand too much in his past few fights. He finally ran into a giant that he couldn't knockout and basically had no plan B. Fedor's bread-and-butter move in Pride was throwing the right hand and lunging forward to take the guy down. Perhaps success, fame, $, etc. has made Fedor complacent.

Ive watched Fujita since he started in mma. Catch wrestling, Sambo or American wrestling is a great base but there's a big difference when you apply it to mma. Not to mention ring vs Octogon..Cain took Brock down during the scramble..Call it what you want..The bottom line is Cain mixes up is striking and wrestling really well and I think he's too fast for Overeem. Cain would beat him to the position to get him down. Just like how GSP does it against NCAA All American wrestlers.

For me Josh B is the american version of Fedor if i can say it that way. He so smart and i love watching his fights. Only 1 fighter has been able to bear him hard which is PRIME crocop when he was at top K-1 striking level and could use both his legs and like Josh said styles make fights.
I really believe Josh will bitch slap Rogers around and he will reach the finale however he will have difficulties winnng the finale but we will see. Regardless what Josh is a monster fighter!

Carwin is a good puncher, but hes not nearly as good as the other guys you mentioned and really lacks the cardio to compete with the top guys.
And Dos Santos really should be in the tourney, He is by far the best HW in the UFC. Cain is a distant second just wait and see Santos will mop the floor with him.

Cain takes down Brock who is bigger and stronger than Overeem and is a high level wrestler. Overeem's striking wouldnt be as effective cause he will be too worried about the takedowns. Not saying Overeem couldnt win but any top wrestler with some decent striking would give Overeem problems.

What would be awesome is if you could set up a fairly regular interview with Josh if possible. He is a top level fighter, intelligent, undertsnads the whole range of the styles, is politically (UFC / SF etc) pretty neutral and doesn't speak lots of lame crap trying to make himself sound tougher or cooler. He's the best commentator on MMA there is. He was right on the money with this and added in alot of stuff that average fans wouldn't know.

Barnett would almost be relevant to the sport of MMA if he was anything more than a dirty pisser. I agree with Josh he seems like smart guy that definatly has respect for him even if he isnt that great. But I do disagree with Jds vs Werdum Jds is not dumb enough to go on ground as he is a prety smart fighter and has some of best striking seen over and over again and more important he has some great takedowns so their goes Werdum greatest strength subs. As For Overeem he is overrated, he has won 6 fights in a row against 6 guys on losing streaks.

@DamienWar if you think overeem is overrated, you are crazy. the man is 6'5, 265ish is a k1 champion, and has been in there with some of the best(liddell, shogun, etc) and lost when he was young, and has learned from his mistakes. he just needs to get his ass into the ufc and smash lesnar on his way to a title shot with cain or jds.

It seems to me that everyone in the UFC are pricks are money-lovers but in the MMA or whoever I guess Fedor fought are good people... Im feeling that since Fedor doesnt want to get involved in that kind of UFC bunch he doesnt like going into it... but thats jut my intuition
