You could get a Kubota mower or tractor, there made in Japan, and are also very popular here in the states as well. I use to sell them for a living, and they are a damn fine, but might cost you a good bit more then the average push mower.

So, have you met your neighbors? Are they still talking to you after 9 hours of work with a gas powered string trimmer? LOL! In manga, newcomers buy little presents for the neighbors when they move in. Is that done in real life? The garden does look much better, but good luck planting stuff since they didn't leave you the tractor! We'll all be waiting to see More Videos (coming soon no doubt!)

@haversman Nice suggestion _but_ from my experience a lawn is a very rare thing in Japan. At least I never saw one. So that would be pretty unique there, I think. And maybe it's a bit of feeling like home for the foreign owner.

Wow what a smart bird, was he/she yawning or was that my imagination? Looking good there, yes you should be proud of your accomplishment, you put in a lot of work on that yard. Oh heck with the lawn mower, the trend is to make yard functional, with gardens and local flora, fruit trees etc, grass is a waste of water and money! I hate the stuff...Grow a organic year round vege garden, it gives back grass does not (unless it the other stuff with the slang name grass, now that gives back but...) ;D
