We didn't go to Iraq for oil asev. Have you seen the oil prices lately? If we had gone there for oil we'd be paying under $2 a gallon for gasoline which was the price before the democrats took control of the House and Senate. Pelosi/Reid promised lower gas prices. Actually, it's great that he is getting involved in politics at a young age. He already has strong opinions, is able to express them in a well-versed way, and knows what he is talking about. All other kids his age are so obsessed with video games that they don't know what the word "politics" means.

We didn't go to Iraq for oil asev. Have you seen the oil prices lately? If we had gone there for oil we'd be paying under $2 a gallon for gasoline which was the price before the democrats took control of the House and Senate. Pelosi/Reid promised lower gas prices. In some states they are now paying almost $6 a gallon since the democrats have taken over. I'll take the republican's controlled congress' $2 a gallon back anyday. My car does not run on a windmill. Really? That's funny Freep, what I meant was that we went to Iraq in order to secure our control over the country and more importantly our control over their future oil supply and shipments. Gas in 2006 before the Dems took control, was an average of $2.70 a gallon, not under $2. Nowadays, the average gas price is $3.70, and the "$6" states that you're talking about are actually around $5.25, because of the recent developments in Hurricane Ike that hit the refineries there.

1. I'll concede this point. Positing that tax funds are spent on "useless projects" is subjective; however, I would disagree and say that public schooling is a useless project and a joke.
2. Instating lower (or more preferably, NO) taxes would "boost" the economy because more money would be available to individuals; perhaps to be spent on innovations... Free competition is all that should compete with oil co's; it's unjust to hack at and cut down such co's via taxation (your "competition").

Drilling- drilling offshore won't provide relief for at least 6 years, and won't have a significant impact until years after that. Plus, it only digs a deeper hole, as we are dangerously addicted to oil.
Iraq- Obviously, shoving more soldiers in will lower violence. Our troops have gone a great job, but lowering violence wasn't the only goal of the surge. And you say you want to lower taxes- so how will you pay for the war you love?

I liked your video supporting McCain. Am in agreement with you that Mccain is the best choice. An Obama presidency would be the worst thing for America. Obama flip flops on issues more than a slinky. Bill O'Reilly is far from being a republican. Just because someone is a critic of the going-ons in the democratic party does not make them a republican. Last time I checked. But that's not why we're in Iraq, right? 9-11 happened and we took out Saddam so everything's fine. Wrong. Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and other terrorist sects are still out there. So let's just bring the troops home and wait for another 9-11 so we can launch another war and have more time and troops wasted.

Actually, it's great that he is getting involved in politics at a young age. He already has strong opinions, is able to express them in a well-versed way, and knows what he is talking about. All other kids his age are so obsessed with video games that they don't know what the word "politics" means.

I never said I thought it was bad he was getting involved in politics. Everyone should, especially at his age. But I found it funny because he's talking in almost the exact same way I did when I was his age. I use to mimic my parents "foxnews"-ified political views without any real research of my own. When I started to read more I became more independent and critical of the system, which I encourage everyone his age to do. I'm encouraging him to simply ask questions.

I myself am 13 and I am always asking questions. My parents are very liberal, so trust me, I am not mimicking them as I have very conservative opinions and morals. I have always found politics interesting since I was 8. Since then; my knowledge, opinions, and skepticism have only increased.
