two of my top 10 songs my favorit from the agonist and my second favorit from LTC first being the unwelcome savior but i dont see the point in this comparison the are both great in there own respect defiantly two of the best female metal vocalists ive with the exception of the singer from i wrestled a bear once

I'm sorry, Light This City is the winner in my opinion. Laura's screams are all natural. It doesn't matter that she doesn't use clean vocals, because the quality of the band's music and structure and just overall enjoyment factor is out of this world. I find Light This City much easier to listen to than The Agonist. Don't get me wrong, Alissa is very talented, but I just don't find her band as enjoyable as Light This City

Alyssa does have awesome cleans and a great range. BUT she uses distortion effects on her scream/growling, so you can't giver her has much credit as Lauren. Plus, Light This City has much better musicality and lyrics.

The Agonist! Only Alissa can fuse screaming with clean vocals this well, and also, I think that Light This City should like, put better the rythm of the lyrics with the music. They are good though, but I think The Agonist is better, by far.

Two incredible screamers; but it's very difficult to compare Alissa to Lauren, mainly because Alyssa can sing better than 99.999999999999999999% of the world too. Listen to her Swan Lake cover, I mean... She wins even if it's just for range in her screams/clean vocals. But then again, there's something appealing about the style Lauren uses. I think it's a tie, but in my personal opinion, I think Alissa is more talented.
