the beginning sounds a lot like his "Ballade" from Kitano's BROTHER. I've been listening to Hisaishi since I was very young, and over the years his style has become so identifiable. Yet he remains my favorite score composer of all time. Every track is packed with such deep thought and emotion
@padouke That's exactly what I thought when I first listened to this piece! There are passages or chord sequences that are absolutely typical for Hiasishi.

@thcereg - hmmn, some of the piano notes sound like they're from Nausicaa but I don't recognize the piece itself.
