Sure.... but just like all the others he followed the tutorial BY THE FUCKIN LETTER and go tthe exact same result....which is pretty shitty. He couldve at least experimented a bit, made it a bit more original
I can see exactly what your saying, but you can't expect someone to start being original straight from the beginning, he's working his way up, understanding how the effect was made and then from that if support is shown he can try to advance his skills.
In Adobe After Effects i make just camera shape. All another is REAL. This boy was watching Dragon Ball so long and exercising so hard that its nothing for him ;]

I think you can make it a bit more realistic if you lower the opacity of the effect a bit towars the edges of it. Maybe feather it a bit.
