What disturbs me about the entire gov't debate is how they can be confronted like this with a question of clear merit, dance around the issue and give some long, broken up rationalization, and the general population absolutely cannot seem to see through it.

It's similar to how people of strong religious faith cannot fathom the POSSIBILITY that what they think is wrong.

However, mainstream media seems to be the primary cause. We're portrayed as loons to train them to do the same.

If you are a student at a university, you can use another student group and ask the CIA to send a recruiter to speak to you guys. I doubt they would come to a WAC meeting, but if you were also a part of, say, a student government body, a fraternity (I know, but if) or even something like the math club or part of your majors "society" they would jump at the chance to show up.
