its simple, she moves into tokyo to try to start her career but all she does is follow her bf around who is actually going forward in life, her friends see that, even her bf. She feels useless and finds that being a chair for someone to sit on is her niche. I dont really understand the chair thing tho...maybe shes too self conscious to be human? Or maybe too her its perfectly fine because shes an "artist" and finds it to be perfectly normal. i dunno
