This is one of those songs that makes you either really horny or creeped out, depending on mood. I miss the days when entertainers consisted of mature adults and not these half-wit teeny boppers who are barely old enough to know anything about the stuff they sing of. Celi got some booty but that is cool. I still wonder why everyone lip-synched. Maybe it was easier than live music that was edited in the studio?

celibee was a bona fide disco queen. she visited Studio 54 at it peak, just to hang out with Bianca Jagger, and Potassa.

she also made the scene at Dick Clark's American Bandstand. The kids on AB loved her. Celibee may have also been at the merv griffin show.

She definitely sang much better in English than in Spanish. When she started in the 60s shw was just a girl-next-door with a sweet little voice. Then she won an international singing contest with a song her hubbie composed 'Yo quiero un pincel' (I want a paintbrush) and she took off like a rocket. She was a much more beautiful woman after she matured and became sophisticated.
