@harisprayqueen looking back at history, its difficult to say whether the Christians in the middle east prefered Muslim rule rather than Christian rule.

If I was a Christian living back then and Muslims were ruling over my land. I would most probably tell the Muslims what they want to hear, in order to avoid getting killed. Its exactly like how many Muslim countries operate.

If you know whats good for you, you dont bad mouth your leaders. Look what happens in Syria, Iran etc..

@harisprayqueen the point I was trying to make about Syria, Iran and all the others is that the rulers of those countries are all MUSLIMS. So you have these rulers who are all well educated, they also have full knowledge of Islam and yet they are mistreating fellow Muslim brothers and sisters.

So even with all the education behind them, they show their cruelty.

As for Nigeria, well Muslims their are no angels are they. As for the Christians, well they are not following Christianity proberly

Well half of my family are christians and they are doing just fine in Palestine. I actually went to a beer festival in a nice Palestinian christian village a couple of times and seemed to Christians and Muslims were having a great time bonding over Palestinian beer. The simple fact is, Christians that have lived under Muslim rule always had to be careful of their Muslim neighbours. For many centuries, Christians and Jews had to submit to the Muslim ruler in the same way people submit to the Iranian and Syrian rulers. Its not like the west where u can openly criticise the power. Actually, historically christians have preferred to live under muslim rule than christian rule because they can freely practice their religion and all of the sects are protected and were not persecuted like they were under christian rule, you don't see protestant and catholics fighting because they are all equal and treated equally.

@harisprayqueen I have met Iranians who lived in Iran. I have met Muslims who have left Islam. There are plenty of even Palestinians who left the Islamic faith and have come to the west. @Nuron666 I have met Iranians who are unhappy in Iran, and I don't consider Iran to be a true Islamic country. My idea of an islamic nation for me is Turkey, a secular country with a muslim base. And I have met Palestinians who are athiests and it's cool as well. Palestine is different because Fatah is very anti-Hamas and the West Bank in that case sometimes bans Islamic things. As for Gaza, well, I hate Hamas so I can't say much. And I read that book, that guy is the son of HAMAS

It was well know that a lot Palestinians were simply running away from Palestine and trying migrate to other countries. There are many cases of Palestinians who sold their homes to Israeli settlers in exchange for money and to get out of that land.

The archbishop of Palestine (Atallah Hanna) is also a very prominent Palestinian activist, and so are the Jabha party who are mostly secular and hosts many Christian members. Stop stirring shit up.
