Juste toujours aussi émue d'écouter et de voir Mark Hollis, un timbre de voix et un son que l'on n'entend qu'une seule fois dans sa vie... De plus, quelle beauté !!! j'adore!!!!!
This is top caliber music! I miss the British invasion! Dang it, every time I hear music from back then the longing for it is so much I can't stand it. Drives me crazy that there's not many artists or albums one can look forward to in today's trashy music market. What music used to be, for some reason, it's isn't any more.
Why aren't artists making music like this? Stuff that feels real and you can just identify with? I'm so disappointed on our generation. Only so few really accomplish to obtain quality on what they do these days. But I'm so happy and honored to be able to listen to Talk Talk because their legacy will live forever. :)
Hey everyone, our recently launched music blog has a post about late-era Talk Talk we’re trying to get out there and hope you might enjoy. Just search SongStacks on Twitter.
..... .....great lyrics ...wonderful voice ...excellent music . these guys were so talented ...but most important is they never sold out . making good music was more important to them than commercial success . i think this is what truly defines a band from others . Talk Talk had music in their heart , mind and soul . Mark Hollis is one of a kind .... you guys are irreplaceable.
Talk Talk is an example of a talented band who refused to sacrifice their artistic integrity in order to have commercial success. Some things are just more important.
WOW, this is maybe the best video i have ever seen..BUT ,what really pisses me off are these incessant ads for fukkin Lady gaga singles...can't STAND HER!!!!
lilianashton. You said it, now you have to seek hard, then this was on the radio or mtv. Today is all about the sales, its sad, but thanks to youtube for having this.
I'm sick of people commenting on old music vids about how "music is rubbish now!!!!!!111!" There's a difference between music as a whole and the very small section of that music that is the mainstream. I'd say what was mainstream was better in the past, but if you can't find good music being made right now, well then you're just not looking hard enough! There's a whole world of talent out there and I think there always will be.
@lillianashton I totally agree with you, theres so much good music being made today, you just have to get off your ass and look for it cos you won't find it in the charts.
You said it, now you have to seek hard, then this was on the radio and mtv, sorry if you cant see. Now is all about the market; even with independent music
People should really stop posting their age, nobody cares...

@JustOneMeatPuppet I care. I'm always astounded when a kid born 10 years after this song was released winds up becoming a Talk Talk fan. There's something really compelling and special about that, in my opinion.
Still, I was born 5 years after this song was released, but you don't see me talking about it. There will always be fans of Talk Talk, decades, maybe even centuries from now.

Talk Talk are a great band! Love this track and the others from this period. However, as far as tunes go, their penultimate album as Talk talk, Spirit of Eden, is the one.
@ZENTYS If U find it bruv, LET ME KNOW! I`d love to be teenage again with TALK TALK etc. and my life to live again. WOW, thats a dream worth dreamin`...!!!
I put the Colour of Spring in the CD player for the first time in maybe two years. I just can't stop listening to it. Just can't believe that the Album 24 years old is. Brilliance at it's best. At this moment i am truly, living in another world! Just can't get enough of it.
undoubtedly the best live band Iv seen musically, the percussionist on the 86 tour was bouncing 12 in. off the ground ,saw them in Aberdeen & Newcastle.
mark at best in his prime. if the band comes back i dont think they will be like they use to be people. Lets face it, mark did his job. This is entirely different era today, where music is just unatural with modified gimmick sounds voice overs. However, If talk talk ever comes back, i think they should use the same old tools like 80s did.
It's plainly ridiculous that this song is TWENTY - FOUR years old. It's a timeless masterpiece, Hollis is a genius...the video puts a big smile on my face. Briliant, brilliant, brilliant......brilliant.
I grew up in the 90's and while I heard a few talk talk songs when I was young I really didn't know much about them until approximately a week ago. They're excellent, i would be dissapointed that I've been missing out on them for 20 years but to be honest I'm just thrilled I've found them.

@MrJesusHJones Apparently he says he`s `left the music business` because of his family. Which is fair enough. Although you are right, `Such A Shame` that we won`t hear no more from him/them. On the other hand, all things in Life have a beginning and an end. That`s unavoidable. At least Talk Talk `happened`, if U get me. thank god for the eighties , if you were born in the late sixties you grew up listening to the music your parents liked then when you hit the teenage years along came bands like talk talk , the jam , tears for fears, there are so many bands today influenced by the eighties what a great decade
@anto1191 .... well I was born in '72 and was weened on Mamas and Papas, Beach Boys, etc.. the 80's were great, as were the 90's ...... bit sh*t since though.......
@silmalila Thanks for the positive comment , if only we lived in as positive a time as the eighties and the late 20th century, music was music back then and we lived unafraid and uncensored. There is good music now if you sift through the mountain of rubbish which covers it.
@anto1191 Don't get me started! My channel is all about politics now...
I miss the good old days, my dear, when the world was not so OBVIOUSLY being subverted by islam. I miss the past so much; I don't listen to anything but the music from the era when life was good!
The eighties were so lovely and fun; the world will never be that way again, I fear.
I just recently got introduced to Talk Talk and I must say they truly are an underestimated and inventive group! I am so glad that I am getting the opportunity to delve deeper into their music!
THiS was the 3rd, and ONLY vidieo I have seen by Talk Talk in the 80's i remember dancing to this vid as I watched in my moms room. Mom came in and also danced as well. Mom had a stroke now and I visit her.

@anto1191 .... well I was born in '72 and was weened on Mamas and Papas, Beach Boys, etc.. the 80's were great, as were the 90's ...... bit sh*t since though.......

@anto1191 How right you are. The eighties were the Renaissance for music in the twentieth century!

@Spud1794 I appreciate what you're saying, but just for the record: good music in the wrong hands can be evil. that's all i'm gonna say.

Though his Wiki doesn't mention it I'm sure T F-G was the son of an arch bishop. (Though he isn't shown here - as usual)

THiS was the 3rd, and ONLY vidieo I have seen by Talk Talk in the 80's i remember dancing to this vid as I watched in my moms room. Mom came in and also danced as well. Mom had a stroke now and I visit her.

@ladystardust2008: If you loved that, then you'll be in bliss by the full album version. It continues where the single (here) fades prematurely.
