  • Hey bro thanks for posting this really made my 6 month old bully ears starting to stand I just wrapped it for the first time he needed it my first 2 didn't need to be wrapped but this way to wrapped is really making his stand again thanks..

    Also...

You got any pups for sale??

  • sorry to hear about that. hope your puppy is doing well.

  • Thanks but last Sunday two pits attacked her and now her ears are really messed up :(

  • Great video!!! I have a Corso she is 8 wks and had her crop done a week ago, im currently healing her scabs with hydro peroxide, should I use your method with the long cotton tipped applicators or can I use something smaller? Her ear canal is just so tiny in comparison to your pit's head :p

  • @michelleybellyfelly construct the splint using the cotton tip applicaters and use as many as necessary to achieve the custom thickness to suit your dogs ear canals. a large breed will require 3 to 4 applicaters.

  • Are the ears supposed to always be up or do they sometimes go down cuz my pit has them up but at times she puts them back or they just go to the side????

  • @donecheck the ears will be straight up when his attention is drawn towards a certain object or sound. they will sometimes fold back when he's extremely happy to see you and other moods

  • @donecheck the ears will be straight up when his attention is drawn towards a certain object or sound. they will sometimes fold back when he's extremely happy to see you and other moods

  • Ur video was more helpful than my vet.

  • Wat type of crop does this dog have?

  • @831CALI138

    show style

  • Thx bro great video 2 thumbs up!!!

  • isnt ear cropping illegal? o.o

  • @Stig0fream

i dont know where you heard that from. maybe in some states. but not here in california.

  • sorry i should have been more accurate... the wounds have healed now trying to get the ears to stand its been 6-7 days after the wounds have healed been to the vet about three times for her to tape the ears .... is it too late has the cartlidge harden hes 4 months old .. thanks for your time and your video

  • man this is why i miss the states... i live in south east asia now and i got a red nose over here after the ear crop the vet just taped his ears i asked for a rack she said nobody should use one just use tape and a collar and thats it Thank you so much for this video .when does a pits bone cartlidge get hard? within weeks or does it depend on the dog? alltogether thank you ... ive ran to the vet 3 times now to get my dogs ears re taped ... once again thank you for the video ..

  • My dog wont stay still when we try to wrap him and he shakes his head HARD and the stuff comes out of his ear :( can you please help me :(

  • @TinyBebe612

you should have no problem holding down a 3 month old puppy. if they come out, them youre not applying them correctly.

  • quick responce to the many questions.

    1. anything over 4 months is too old to have ears cropped.

    2. change Vet if he didnt apply stiches after the crop. stiches stay in approximately 10 days.

    3. wraps stay on for approximately 7-10 days. wrap until satisfied.

a lil fur will pull off from the repeated taping. it will grow back.

    4. no need to wrap uncropped ears. why would you?

  • Can you do it withi out cropped ears

  • how many days do i have to leave the tape on the dog's ears?

  • What's the longest u can let the dog with his ears wrap? I wrap my dogs ears twice and let it wrap for two days and they stand perfect but after a couple of days pass they go back to how he use to have them?

  • hey mate... i wanted just to ask you about the ears crop. i have a presa canario 3 months old. and i cropped his ears today. i want to ask you if he is going to raise his ears later because now i can watch that the ears are somehow down... do you recomend me to follow this process to help his ears to raise them up??? with or without now stitches?

  • if so txt me at eight one two three four four seventeen twenty three

  • i want my males ears croped he is a year can u help

  • it's all been say, this is best far tape method i use. although i seem not to find the q tip or tape at any local store. i used different supply but works great! still don't understand the finger length cut on the q tip for ear circulation when everything is tape already? anyhow, this is defiantly a subscribe!! A++

  • @changievangie

its not a tight wrap. the splint cut too short would apply pressure to the tip of the ear.

  • @neontenny

your Vet is an idiot!!! he only told you that because he didnt know how to wrap them. give it a week so the ears dry up a lil then wrap. gently remove the scabs as they appear to be falling off.

  • do u know if there is a ideal age to get a pits ears cropped. my blue brendle turns 4months 2moro n i would really like to have his cropped but dont wanna couse any damage

  • @rroque1000

i preffer to have them cropped at about 12-14 weeks. 16 weeks at the latest.. have them cropped ASAP.

  • whats the oldst that u would recomend for a pit to get its ears cropped. i got a blue brindle that turns 4mnths 2moro.

  • @rroque1000 12-14 weeks

  • This is one of my fav videos. My pups stitches will be out in a week. I should have all my supplies from amazon by then. They will be wrapped just like this. Thanks for the tips.

  • very helpfull video....! great job

  • thanx soooo much 4 makin this video!!!!!!!!! my rednose jus had his ear's done. the vet put a plastic round piece between his ears wit some tape and every time he shakes his head the round piece flips over, so after seein this video im gonna take this bullshit plastic round piece off and do it the way u showed.

  • this post and video is the best ive seen on ANY website to wrap cropped ears...my puppys ear were trash after they were cropped...after watching this and 3 weeks of wrapping they are perfect...Thank you very much for posting this..It helped and had amazing results...and most of all it saved my show chances for my pup and tons of money!! Thanks again

  • @egcivicpeanut glad i could help

  • Best ear taping technique I've seen to date. No messy glues or adhesives is a big plus in my book. Simple and looks to be comfortable for the dog. I will definitely use this on my crops for my next pups. Thanks for this great video!

  • whats up man, just have a quick question, will this method of ear posting work if i cropped my pits ears really short, he has a battle crop.

  • you have one patient dog. nice video bro.

  • nice video...u can also use backer-rod vs the popsicle stick if the dog is very active; most are. make sure to be cognitive that the ear drum is at the base where the stick sits. EXCELLENT Video!!

  • great videos, im about to get my pits ears cropped and i was wondering if i would still need to do this if i go with a shorter crop. my friend got show crops on both of his dogs and didnt wrap and they dont flap down

  • i have a cane corso 7months old is that too old

  • my blue ears curl over their heads, just finished healing r we screwed? do i still have a chance, pls help

  • @hollymoana You'll probably gonna love me for this;)

    watch?v=euCOQ8qJn3w&feature=related

Going by this vid, you'll probably have nothing to worry about.

  • @hollymoana wrap them! it may take a few weeks but itll def. work. just keep wrapping until satisfied with the stand.......

  • @knuckleheadpits im debateing on getting a gotti watchdog mix pit some time next year when he has more what kind of crop shold i get i dont want short short i just want it where it will stand up like yours what kind of crop dose yours have and how much dose it cost?

  • @hollymoana try my wrap

  • It will work on for any dog. Just be sure to cut the splint according to ear size.

  • Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! I have a doberman puppy. Does this wrapping also work on taping dobermans ears?

  • Good video here. I just got my blue females ears cropped last week. I will be following this video after they are healed up. How long do you leave the splints on ?

  • after cropping, when is it a good time to start wrapping......?

  • Thanks for sharing bro!!!!

  • Great work! thanks for sharing!.

  • hahaha. i love how the dog is like,"whateeevaaaa"!

  • i got my dogs ears done at 12 weeks he is now 1 yr old but his ears were never taped so they dont stay up as well..would this procedure work still to keep his ears up straight?

  • @martinez479

if ur dog had a decent crop, then i dont see why it wouldnt work. you might have to wrap a few times until ur satisfied.

  • @martinez479

    dont hurt to try

  • why do you need to wrap the ears

  • @MrNava121

it looks better when hes at attention and he creases his top skull.

dont get me wrong. when the ears heal. it will only appear as a very small fold.

  • @knuckleheadpits well i got my dog and clipped his ears turns out i had to wrap his ears now he's looking great!!

  • Thank you so much for putting this up for us people that are struggling to find a good method on wrapping cropped ears. I am having a problem with my bully and with your helpful tips I am sure it will work. I will keep u updated on the results.

  • @DrankSippinAnimal Between 200- 900 dollars. depending on the vet office and how they do it.

  • Dogs thinking how do i look some one pass me a mirror

  • great looking pitty

  • ... hes so chill. lol

  • @eddy8496 lmao! madd funny wid all that in hiz head

  • Around How Much Would The Ear Cropping Cost?

  • @DrankSippinAnimal

varies. you get what you pay for.......

  • will this work on older dogs, like 1 or 2 years old?

  • @izzy1482 it'll def. work. but your dog is waaay too old and i highly recommend that you not even attemp to crop your dogs ears at that age. they should of been cropped at 12 wks of age. you run the risk of causing severe nerve damage that may result in your going blind in one or both eyes. so ask yourself "would i want a blind pitbull?" i think not

  • life saver right here. thanks for this man

  • @xlaz13x

no worries brother. glad i could help

  • gewd vid

  • VERY HELPFUL!!!!
