the enemies were infected so how can they be zombies if

-they arent technically dead only infected

-they are running traditional zombies dont run

-arent eating human flesh they are just killing them hand to firearm

@mibevan I love how people who go on about things "not being zombies" often display that they have no idea what zombies are. Despite what is apparently popular belief, the concept of a "zombie" existed long before Romero's portrayal (Which was inspired by "I am Legend") became mainstream.

Traditional zombies didn't eat human flesh. Traditional zombies had no trouble running. Traditional zombies barely even resemble the Romero-era zombies in anything besides being the reanimated dead.

I love how the creators made these games similar to the zombie theme, but kept it away from it as well. Instead, they combined humans with a disease similar to rabies to an animal, a disease that causes them to become savage and mutated.

I have a real noob question. What is L4D? I know its a game with zombies, but is it single player, online, split screen? What consoles can you play it on? Is it like Nazi Zombies or is it a campaign game, where you kill zombies? Whats the story behind it?

I have never played or heard of Left for Dead before, but I am considering buying it, and i would like to now what it is.

You kill zombies with 4 people throughout the different levels. There isn't a particular story line, since it's just some virus that turned everyone but the random immune people into zombies, and of course the immune people try to get to the other immune people but you never see more than the 4 you play with. It's online, splitscreen, and single player.

@TheRammsteizer you can also play as the special zombies in a mode called versus online but in l4d2 you can play scavenge were you collect gas cans and another team is trying to kill you as zombies and in both there is survival well the name says what it is.......you survive for a certain time against coms

@CassFan4Ever 360 is the newer Xbox, and none of the servers for regular Xbox Live are even up anymore.

PS3 and 360 have some huge differences, PS3 has a LOT more power than the 360, and can play Blu-ray, and it's by Sony instead of Microsoft. The online isn't good (in my opinion) the 360's is better, and you really have to play them both to get to know what you do or don't like. Left 4 dead is good for online or solo play.

@dabosesofallbosses Look at the failure rates for the PS3 and for the 360. Notice how the 360 is like 30% higher?

The 360 isn't better than the PS3 and the PS3 isn't better than the 360. They have their ups and downs and it's way worth owning both of them. PS3 has Blu ray anyway which wins over 360 any day, but 360 has the "everyone in the world owns one" upside.

Valve didn't like producing for the PS3. Now they've changed their minds, just look at Portal 2 and the cross platform play.
