  • I was learning to play during this time. Savoy Reccords. Very special singers and style. He dropped the charges and can the world see Jesus in you were my favorites.

    Especially "He chose me".

  • This is true Gospel music, when gospel music would change your life...

  • @RichieRich281 Absolutely! WELL said...I don't know what MOST of what we listen to today actually is. It passes for what Gospel used to be to the soul of mankind.

  • This is soooooooooooooooooooooo sweet! My GOD! Smooth!

  • BEAUTIFUL! CLASSICAL LEGENDS, SORELY MISSED IN GOSPEL MUSIC.

  • This is one of my all time favorites. Had the priviledge to drive them around on one of their tours in the Philly area. Great guys both of them. I miss them both.

  • one of my early pieces of sheet music purchased.

  • You can find some of their material on ebay

  • @buddybuc1 Also, there is some on Amazon.com.

  • Yes Lord!! I'm so glad that before the foundation of the earth, we were chosen to live in the image of Jesus Christ. Purpose and destiny He has given to us. Will we choose Him?

  • Good old time Gospel music, that is what I grew up, along with Anthems, spirituals and hymns! This kind of music would usher in the Presence of the Holy Spirit! Didnt tickle the flesh, touched the soul and ignited the spirit!

  • From Papan to Armstrong street's then from Igo Pruitt, to Berkely and U City St. Louis is where all the family resided

  • they were great singers they attended my church RWJ edgar and eddie

  • Yes they were dynamic singers. Very unique and unmistakable. My brother and I sung some of their songs.

  • One of the first songs I wanted to play on keyboard. Never got it right.

The Oneal Twins were pillars and great to listen to. What a song ministry these brothers had.

  • I love this song...it's my theme song for 2009...thank u Lord for choosing me!

  • Sound of Pentecost?? Try sound of ALL CHRISTIANS, which Pentecostals are a part of. This is the sound of most Black churches not just Pentecostals, one Lord one Faith one Baptism!

  • By sayin "Sound of Pentecost", my terminology meant that this song is Holy Ghost inspired. I'm COGIC born and bred and this is just COGIC lingo. Without Pentecost, we would be just as dry and dead as other folks. No offense.

  • I love this song...we used to sing it when I was a lil boy...sometimes I still pull it out...such an anointing.

  • I luv this song I remember hearing this song on the documentary "Say amen somebody" as a child it touched me then so many years ago and it still touches me now. Thanks for posting this.

  • I'm glad I can a blessing to you through my videos. You're so very welcome!

  • Str8 outta St. Louis, MO The O'Neal Twin's music spoke to your heart, mind,& soul. AMEN!!! HE CHOSE ME!! SATAN IS & ALWAYS WILL BE A LIAR!!....Don't get me started preachin'.

  • All right now! Glooooorry!

  • Straight out the Lou...these are my distant relatives (my mothers cousins) They will live forever through their music...Thanks OlSkoolSaint

  • They're legendary. "Jesus Dropped The Charges" was another hit they had back in the day. Those songs still sound great today. The younger generation really can't relate, but it's ok. 1460 KIRL in St. Louis would play them to death, but it was that good, I didn't care how much they played their music.

  • Your mom's cousin. Wow. Were th born in St. Louis?

  • Glory!

  • Its Church of God in Christ
