I think Koreans are just clearing out the old inventory to make room for new models. Of course, they're training--don't get me wrong, but I heard they have new indigenous models to replace both types of missiles.

I may be wrong but if you observe carefully, the first hawk and the second hawk missile seem to burn at slightly different temperature, perhaps due to long storage time? The second Nike missile seems to have one of its rocket motor burn out early.

I am really interested on military weapons and technology. wow!! how advanced south korea really is. North Korean might have two million strong soldiers and south koreans are greatly outnumbered, but technology is the main factor of winning a war now. Quantity has no longer a quality unlike what Lenin said. Technonlogy dictates the modern battlefield. Keep it up guys!

The missiles shown here launched are actually not so advanced but quite outdated ones---US-made Hawk and Nike surface-to-air missiles (SAMs). However, South Korea now has more advanced indigenous missiles, though they are short-range SAMs, SSMs, and cruise missiles.
