@ChrisAlexanderVEGAS You sir, are SO wrong. I've been to a professional studio. They do a sound check just to record a drum sample. They need to tweak everything to make it THAT perfect, do you expect that a #1 hit is made by just fooling around? No, it takes TIME. This is why people do it as a job. It's a tedious process to get the samples sounding right (hens sample packages cost upwards of 1000$.)

Hell, I'm only semi-pro when working at home. And I still do a sound check on my basslines.

I spend a lot of money and time in my music, I don't just buy a MIDI controller and make music for someone else, that's FOOLISH, and is why producers never have their names out there. POP music is simple. There's nothing to it. A percussion line, pad, lead, synth, hook, chorus. That's not talent. C'mon. Songwriter is good on you, but that doesn't make you good.
