Los Angeles Superior Court Judges are excpting bribes. California judges are employee's of the State not the County. The County is currently giving them $57,688.00 per yr per judge in addition to the pay and benefits they receive from the State. After being exposed for the bribes (Sturgeon v Los Angeles County) the judges paid a lobbyist to pass SBX211 granting retro active imunity from prosecution. SBX211 does not address the loss of due proccess.

Theirs is not an attempt to persuade "lost" black people but to explain that there is a different more prevalent point of view among blacks. The tactic of bringing out black conservatives and then pretending that they are representative of MOST blacks is offensive to me. During slavery, the masters could always find one or two slaves to agree with slavery.

To anyone who doesn't understand why Harry Alford is right here it is because of the COMMON-DENOMINATOR. Barbara Boxer used a group that supports a better environment, but that wasn't specifically saying anything about cap n trade, which is what the common denominator should have been. She was using a liberal black group to counter a black opponent. It was clearly racial. Her common-denominator was skin color.

How are poor people suppose to focus on things like education or furthering their careers if they have to constantly worry about meeting their most basic needs? The better question is why do so many blacks support the party of slave owners and the KKK? Alford hit it on the nail when he said that boxer loves poor black folks and black folks in their place. The same is true for the entire democrat party, without the poor their base would be nil. No way are the dems going to allow the poor to escape poverty, it would be suicide. No doubt Michael Steele will play a substantial role in the Republican convention.

Yeah, right, tell me what the Republicans have done to ameliorate poverty and hunger since Reagan took office? Name one program that Republicans have implemented to not only ease what the poor go through daily, but what they have done for the middle class of late? Look at what happens to not just the poorest in this country, but the middle class when Republicans are in power. Reagan brought us homelessness and the debt.
