  • Let me know if you want me to shoot a demo vid of this git...

  • Hello! In fact, the private stock letter for this High Gloss Nitro Beast states specifically, Singlecut with NO CHANNELS. This featherweight SC250 runs with a Mean Streak, when it comes to tone, resonance and projection. Floats like a butterfly; stings like an Aquamarine Hornet; a true blast to play! This is Double D from Wild West Guitars, by the way... the dude in the video.

  • It's chambered isn't it!

  • @mothowl no i dont think its chambered. obeche is just a very lightweight tonewood.

  • Sooo ... we have the word of a salesman that it sounds amazing, of course we will all take your word for it and offer the many 1000's of dollars needed to acquire said guitar.

Forgive my sarcastic wit - seriously though, why does it weigh only 7 lbs, is it lightweight wood, or chambered?

  • but how does it sound?

  • @TheRealCardshark87

The guitar sounds amazing either plugged in or unplugged. It's very light and resonate, the korina neck and obeche body give you a very smooth yet present mid range and the flame maple top coupled with the ebony finger board give you all the sparkle and keep the lows tight and focused. The pickups are very nice as well, just as PRS describes them, if you go to the PRS site and search for 59/09 you'll get a description of the pickups.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for asking.
