you could try more to find the heart of what you play... do not think about that it should be complicated and keep the left hand accompaniment simple in the beginning. maybe just strike a chord and play slowly the notes with your right hand, this way you can find the idendity of what you play. I don't have all the answers, I compose myself and try only to share what I "learned" ...many notes do not make a song, the song will ask for many notes if it needs it ...keep composing :)

I somewhat agree, but the way the harmonic and melodic features unfold is important also. There's more ways than just banging out chords. I do agree that the composer should focus more on the fundamentals rather than adding unnecessary notes, but the method of projection can make all the difference. As far as this composition, nice work nonay. I liked how you peaked a bit outside the box, but I'd like to see you completely escape the box that everyone else seems to be trapped in =)
