I agree,this was The Tempts song first,I don't know why they didn't release this for The Tempts,well this was around the time that Whitfield decided to record 95% of singles with Ruffin on lead,and probably because Motown slept on Eddie Kendricks,I always felt that Eddie was underrated and underused as a Temptation,who knows but this might have been of the little things that pushed Eddie to leave,I know it would make my decision about leaving a whole lot easier
