I'm an Asian American living abroad following the election. I tell you, there's a huge nostalgia about what America once stood for which made it great. Not a warmongering bully. The men in this video make a good point that if Ron Paul were to run as independent, he would take most of his conservative support with him--because an increasing portion of conservatives are libertarian like Paul, rather than truly Republican--while at the same time appealing more to democrats who are concerned about big government versus liberties and free market commerce.

I'm an Asian American living abroad following the election. I tell you, there's a huge nostalgia about what America once stood for which made it great. Not a warmongering bully. Not a corporate puppet. USA was once great because it was a great inspiration and an example for others in terms of personal freedom and governance as well as economy. It got corrupted and we drifted far from that time. I see Ron Paul and I feel that sense of American pride, and a guy who can bring that back.

Paul has charisma of his own, only it's genuine. Obama was so charismatic that even I (the skeptic to end all skeptics) believed him for a while. He was articulate, passionate, and spoke a message of "hope" and "change". He promised to end wars and kill the patriot act, and that sounded like a giant step in the right direction. This is a pretty strange concept. Obama and Paul are polar opposites on nearly every issue. How would that ever work?

the are very different, emphasize on the same things, but Ron Paul is much more common sense, while I feel Obama is more emotional, hts speeches etc.. Ron Paul is simple constitutionalist who speaks the truth of freedom, and small government.. Obama thinks bigger government is good IMO...

These two young men are clearly not defined by their race. They are inelligent, independent, and issues oriented. This is not true of many people and it's understanbdable that many black voters feel inspired to have a viable black candidate in Barrack Obama.
To be inclusive of the black voter and also to remain faithful to the Contitutional platform of Ron Paul, a better choice for VP would be Alan Keyes. Smart, principled, strict Constitutionalist, and no CFR connection.

Yep, it should not be about race or religion, it should be about truth and Ron Paul was just that. Obama this and that from others, well what was he saying and what is he going to do now with all those promises? More of the same? I would bet on half of that, if not 3/4 of more of the same. Some are caught up in glitter and lights, these young men are not, peace.

I like the general notion of a Paul/Obama ticket, but for two things:
(1) Obama is a Council on Foreign Relations puppet, and
(2) That's probably the quickest way to get Dr Paul "assassinated", as soon as he makes steps towards eliminating the Fed.
Sorry. External factors would thus rule out that being viable.

Think of how prosperous the country was, and how progressive the country was in the early 60's for Blacks and others when JFK was president. Taxes went down, discrimination went down, everyone was optimistic, technology breakthroughs happened, so 'naturally', THE MAN had to get rid of him. I pray for RP's safety for the same reasons.

So why is the CFR so bad? Its because those guys decide what the 'approved candidate' is going to do. Kerry would still be IRAQ, especially with that war-monger Liebermann as VP. Ron Paul is the only one who will be good for the country... With 300 million people in the US, saving $1trillion would give EVERY AMERICAN $3,300 extra per year at least!

Ron Paul is the most popular candidate from either party amoungst active duty military, and is the most popular REPUBLICAN amoungst black people. BARAK unfortunately is an approved Council on Foreign Relations candidate (CFR), the only REAL candidates are KUCINICH, GRAVEL, AND RON PAUL.

Ron Paul is bringing people together because he is the only candidate whose policies, principles and ideals would allow Americans to live in freedom, cooperation and peaceful coexistence. He is the only candidate who will not be used to by some Americans to rule, control and rob other Americans. Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands that freedom is the solution to the human condition. This is a whole new ball game. This is not one group against another.
