@hspencer100 i too have this lag (fiently but noticable) there is a little fix tho, disabling the animated windows (but then thers no more fancy windows moving about :P) yea i know how annoying it can be....
@hspencer100 It seems to be more prominent in the 64-Bit version. MS cocked-up the RC builds and pre-RC builds (i.e. 7047, 7048, 7057 and 7100 etc). The final RTM/Retail is of course from the RTM string of releases such as 7260 and 7264. MS fixed bits out of the 32-Bit version, but there are little "snags" here-and-there with the x64 release.
Use a system utility software RegInOut, hangs and lags will no longer occur in windows 7.

I've had my windows 7 on my laptop for almost a year and it doesn't do that. Is this something I should be expecting to happen ?

To all of you who think this is just a fading effect, it ISN'T... The fading effect is supposed to fade smoothly. This does the opposite of smooth..

orin187 2 years ago
So are you saying that this lag is really meant to be there?
cruzargel 2 years ago
I'm also having this lag, do you have a ATI card ad witch in that case ? :)
And witch software ?
KungKronberg 2 years ago
It happens both on my desktop which has NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 and on my laptop which has an ATI video card.
