this whole jaylib arguement is stupid. My Opinion=-dilla and madlib are both outrageously sick producers but madlib hasn't and never will have the soul and bump that dilla has- then again i sometimes think madlib might be a better sampler. Anywayz its nuttin but love between them since day 1 and we are lucky that they hooked up on the "champion sound"-1 of the best albums ever!!!!!
People like Dilla are here for a short time because this planet doesn't have enough time and space for individuals such as him. It's more for miscreants, hoodlums and buffoons, they live a longer, more disgusting life full of horrid events and so forth.
@norcalbike Name a few, and I will try to go easy on you, son. I am on a musical level that niggas who rant, like yourself, are nowhere near. I know music that's not even anywhere near my age group, and I am up there when it comes to crate digging and knowing what are good sounds. I am not even a DJ, but I can always play shit that is different that I know people can feel. What you know? I was only going into Instrumental Hip Hop, but if you wanna play other shit out, get at me. Any genre.
@helgenx I was just saying that it's foolish of you to claim the world is not worthy of people like jay dee. He wasn't a god, just a man who had an amazing ear and sense for music. Don't even get at me about crate digging, I myself am a producer and listen to tons of shit. So whatever "musical level" your on, I could give a shit.
yeah i'm sorry but people who are saying dilla respected madlib more as a lyricist than a beat maker/thought he wasn't that good are misinformed. dilla played the lootpack album for ?uestlove bugging out like crazy and even ?uest didn't get it at the time. plus dilla said he lost sleep several times over madlib productions. i don't even see why the comparison needs to be made, they're both supremely gifted artists
Another unsung hip hop legend gone before the world realized. I guess with jay and nujabes, god said there was too much heat in one kitchen so he took them both. They still ain't ready for these cats and they already left. R.I.B. Rest in beats to Jay Dilla and Nujabes

Stop Trying To Compare J Dilla An Madlib.
Creative People Get Lonely An Bored When They Dont have Someone Up There With Them.
Thats Why They Did Jaylib.
And It Was Mostly J Dilla Produced Stop Dick Ridin Like You Know Everything.
The Tracks Dilla Rapped On Where Madlib Tracks, An Madlib Rapped Over Dilla.
Theres Really No Need To Compare Them.
I Bet Madlib Would Say The Same Thing.
