you can tell the rifle by the shape and the way it looks when it spins.

1903s look realy skinny and tall when they spin and generaly a good spinner goes fast

m1s look fat and generaly look like its going slower than it is

m14s are slow unless you have a realy good spinner like josh fisher from texas and they tend to get tossed and gets beats more because of the weight and people think it looks better slow because it shows extreame control of the rifle

Acctually the black watch uses M-1903 springfield rifles, they are a little over 9 pounds, some of the guys that are on the Norwich Shock Platoon came from black watch

Oh yeah, highschool kids taking bayonets to comps, that definately won't get them disqualified. So PJudg1, what is a real drill team, I hope your not saying that if a team doesn't use bayonets than they aren't a "real" drill team. Just because some people decide to limit their skills by using bayonets doesn't mean that every other team is "fake" (what ever the hell that means).
