  • THEY ARE SNOWMEN. THEY ARE LEGION.

  • Montreal's Hometown Heros.

  • sings like eddy vedder

  • @ColodeHurlingham ...eddie vedder sings like Ivan. only poorly.

  • I didn't know they had adopted the Bonhomme already in this video.....I thought it wasn't until 1987!

  • Men without Job!!!!!!

  • Bonhommes WITH hats!!!!! REAL music right here boys and girls!!!!

  • Feels like I spend every day walking around in circles... this song makes me happier about it.

  • Wow...I like this song better now than when I first heard it 27 YEARS AGO. :-)

  • I put this song on, went to take a piss.. came back and the advertisement was STILL going.

13 minutes is a bit long.. even for propaganda

  • Good Ol' Ivan.

  • @weirdscience85 Sure is! It's not going anywhere. It's a landmark!

  • The ad I was shown was Toyota ramming a Lexus into a rack of chemicals and just leaving them on the ground. Good Job Toyota.

    And now, the real comment.

  • I think you forgot a OO-OH-HOA

  • I love em for their whole body of work but they never could lose that French Canadian-ness that stood between them and mainstream acceptance

  • This video brings back old memories.

Near the start, they showed LE GRANDE ORANGE in Western Montreal where my dad always stopped for orange julip.

Then they showed the old United States pavilion from Expo '67. As a child, at expo '67, I sat in an astronaut chair there. And I remember when the plastic/plexiglass windows of the pavilion burned back in the late 70s and a huge cloud of smoke was over my high school, Chambly County H. S. in St. Lambert.

  • I LOVE YOU! :'D

  • You are so cool! :) And crazy.. xD

  • Great song from one of the best albums of the 1980s...FOLK OF THE 80s!

  • I just saw them perform this live! Ivan held up the mic to me at the "oo-wa-hooh" part and I got to go backstage and meet him afterwards! That was a truly incredible concert!

  • Montreal represent! :D

  • Takes me back when MTV was all about music!

  • ........I really gotta lay off the weed....

Jokes aside, great song and band!

  • 00:16 - 00:36 - Gotta love that big old orange and the awesome Julep drinks they got there. Friggin delicious.

  • Great song. The video reminds be of Joker from the Dark knight.

  • great song very vintage music it looks like a video game music 0:13 at 0:37

  • Love this band. Its not even my time error. I was a 90s child. The 80s had a distinct sound to them . Can't beat that techno sound

  • Long time! Old hats fan here! Where do the boys go is one of my favorite songs! This song gives a new meaning to Adventure and Excitment! It blows new 21century music out of the water!!!! I use to tear up the dance floor! with this song from Men without Hats! Bands like MWH and others are the foundation, the spark!, to Techno and other types of similar music! I wish MWH was currently still producing music. Thomas Strosnider Pennsyvania

  • i paid 70.00 for an out-of-print MWH album... i suppose that means i like them... A LOT...

  • well, i know where i go... to the nearest bar!!! men without hats fuckin rock!!!

  • It made my day to find this, thank you!

  • 1984 had a lot of hi-energy material ..this is a good example. Great stuff.

  • im seeing these guys in concert tonight!!!!!!!!!!!! so excited!!!!!!!!

  • @spikethornenebula I just saw him last nigth, either if the rest of the band is not there, it's was great to see the energy of Ivan and remember those songs.

  • at 1:08 did you notice the name of the Montreal CFL team on the turf in Olympic Stadium. Concordes,

  • Playing Sound of Music in Burlington on June 19th!

  • no friggin way, they featured the Orange Julep in Montreal!!! I go there like every week end!

  • this is a GREAT SONG!

  • It's too bad that whenever anyone mentions Men Without Hats all they can think of is Safety Dance. Don't they realise all the Great Music this Canadian Band has done ?

  • Not sure, but i thought bonhomme was from Quebec city

  • 4 people thought this was some French shit when they heard him saying: ''Où sont les garçon?''

  • Jesus christ.... Canadians.... :O

  • All the best music came out in the 80's

  • Nagyon szeretem ezt a stílust!!!

  • Love you Men Without Hats, you're the pride of Montreal.

  • These guys were WAY before their time...in my opinion, this is one of their best songs. Unfortunately, they were judged by Safety Dance. By far one of the best bands of the 80s that was way under appreciated.

  • (the Eighties)my youth, my City, Montreal...Je t'aime.

  • trop de bonhommes carnaval, pas assez de poêlonnes à grand manche :)

  • A silly song but still a good tune, upbeat and fun, the words have no point but maybe thats partly why it appeals and the melody too. I have some singles by MWH that i bought back in their day, once saw them perform in NYC. Were real talented guys.

  • as dumb as the music is today.

    i wish it would tank.

    bring back the inventiveness..

  • 4 people didn't tell us where do the boys go.

  • Gotta love that new wave sound

  • Oh dear. All the Bonhomme's. They're everywhere!!

  • @Doogeedoo12 you mean Bohemians ??? lmfao

  • @Avinashda No sir. Bonhomme is a snowman mascot of the Winter Festival in Montreal. Definitely meant Bonhomme.

  • @Doogeedoo12 but only 1 with a black hat lol

  • @Doogeedoo12: Fear the Bonhommes! Ther're out to get the guy in the video.

  • All to the tune of this very simple melody.... ketch, corny - love it..

  • Ivan is the singer and they were from Canada, I believe. I saw them in the 80's over at The Ritz in NYC on 12th St. Great show and memory. Where are they now.

  • @TheBrown55 there "living in china" and sometimes visit "antartica" but "i like" that you still care fore them haha u lucky 80's man

  • Best thing ever!

  • where are these guys from?

  • is the words make any sense? what is he singing about?

  • is the words make any sence? what is he talking about?

  • H's Jot. The lead singer I mean.

  • What the hell is this shit ... oh ho oh

  • A dumb observation: despite the timeframe on the other videos on Youtube of this song being the same length, they don't feature the shot of Ivan Dancing at 0:50-0:51) when he says "I said our heads..." .I wonder how much other "subliminal editing" evades us. Someone else watch and see if you notice.

  • they deserve billions for there music! i cannot belive lady gaga and justin faggot get more views than this! this is genuis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @2620productions hi ! you saying what am thinking ))))) totally my point

  • @2620productions I agreed completely till you said "faggot". Fuck you.

  • @Nemesis7293 no... just no

  • @Nemesis7293 Shut up, faggot. You're both idiots.

  • @2620productions No musician deserves billions, or even millions. They just stand there and sing and play instruments. The ones who deserve millions are teachers, doctors, police, firefighters, and most importantly, the men and women in the military who put their lives on the line every day.

Then again, you don't know the difference between "their" and "there", nor can you spell "genius", so it's no surprise you're too stupid to understand this concept.

  • @Supermassively mate get the fuck off youtube you ungratefull faggot i will do a hater video for you

  • @2620productions Ungrateful? I'm grateful for the people who really matter - the ones I listed. These idiots are just making music. Life might be less fun without them, but if they all disappeared at once, we'd survive just fine. They're useless to us.

If you think they deserve billions, or even the millions they already get, then your priorities in life are seriously fucked up.

  • @Supermassively haters gonna hate

  • @2620productions most likely they didnt get billions coz they were from canada....

  • @2620productions if life is fair then since lady gaga and justin beiber got money for nothing they will become spoiled idiots and die from drug use... while ivan is about 60 years old and still doing concerts

  • their music videos were always so... crazy

  • cool beats

  • not many ppl no bout this band do they?

  • @lifechanged1 A lot of people only know their "Safety Dance" song.

  • @SaintPsyclon

    It's sad eh?
