  • Snake is such a damn putz... Here, Liquid is basically playing chess with the superpowers of the world that will culminate in his own superpower, while Solid is only worried about his poor Meryl...

Despite that though, if all the Snakes let bygones be bygones, they could've accomplished much. Solid's military skill, Liquid's brainpower, and Solidus' general aptness at both while being a skilled revolutionary would've demolished the Patriots and any memory of them.

  • @quantum460 well, you see he didn't get to do that regrettable act. After all, in the ending it was revealed that the DARPA Chief knew who Ocelot was (as in being a spy for The Patriots). To keep the beans from being spilled, Ocelot killed him.

  • @quantum460

#1- Decoy took in the Chief's blood; the Chief was included in the FOXDIE program.

#2- Baker (and subsequently the Chief) were included because they were two civilians who knew about Metal Gear and the new warhead type. The brass from the Pentagon did not want ANY outsiders to know about it.

Original top secret plan... have FOXDIE kill everyone on the base, Snake kills FOXHOUND and then the brass has Snake killed as a traitor while they take metal gear; everything then is secured.

  • I think that's only a theory.

  • Liquid..

  • is that ray or rex at the monitor at 2.28

    i cant tell..

  • Pretty sure it's REX.

  • a simple roll would have been better.

  • LM FUCKING AO AT THE BEGINNING

  • that jump in the beginning was stupid.

  • or fucking awesome

  • it was more stupid in the original one lol

snake just stand in front of the door like an idiot for like 3 seconds.

  • snake was like "1 billion dollars, all for money"

  • mainly want big bosses dna so they can have acess to patriots

  • then if ya play mgs4 ull understand better

  • how can snake jump so high?

  • In real life, it's not physically possible to jump that high without some kind of thrust, but they used this as an "excuse" to correct what happened in the original 'Metal Gear Solid', where Solid Snake stood in front of the entrance for one second and then hid behind the wall. But Liquid Snake was blocking Ocelot's view, so there's no need to jump like that.

  • i really h8 liquids voice, it really annoys the hell out of me

  • he kinda reminds me of Raphael from Soul Calibur

(more SC2 than any of the others)

  • NEEED MORE SOULSS!

  • Well in the original Snake ran in front of the entrance, stood there for a second, and then behind the wall. Snake flipped so he wouldn't have to run past the opening. It's pretty simple.

  • But Liquid Snake was blocking Ocelot's viewpoint.

  • What is up with this series and hand-less cartwheels?

  • To tell you the truth, they were planning to release MGS4 from the start.. I'm really surprized how Hideo Kojima hinted the release of MGS4 in all of his MGS games...

  • Can you proove that?

  • wtf he jumped over the doorpost hahaha that was stupid, twin snakes is ok but the original is 10 times better

  • 0:27 ocelot double clicks with his stump...

  • You mean 2 and 4, 3 took place before MGS2...its a prequel.

  • its not that easy

  • "3 took place before MGS2" and MGS1 dnt forget

  • number 4 is after 2...cuz u play as solid snake in that one

  • you idiot mgs3 is the prequel

  • Liquid sounds like a really intelligent mad man, one of my favorites.

  • by the way, listen closely. adrenaline levels... battlefields... effects older people... MGS4 is definitely being hinted at ;)

  • They weren't even planning that game back then.

  • DaveyJones1111 ,does the word "coincidence" mean anything to you?

  • I could've sworn that Mr. Kojima wrote out the plot to the games beforehand... or at least planned to include that aspect in sequels. But yes, it may have been just a coincidence.

  • with all the evilness that occelot has he is actualy a good guy and is ondercover.

  • the accent is a bit off. i really don't understand the obsession with mullets either, although snake does make it look badass...

  • dang.. liquid is smart...

  • @xkevinwskx of course, an IQ of 180... for sure my Liquid is smart :)

  • man, it always gives me the chills when he say:

    "Outer Heaven!"

  • this is bullet proof glass

  • I agree

  • 0:06

    JESUS CHRIST!

how come I cant do that on my own will?

  • EES A POLITI-SHUN!

  • yeah me filipeflower, and why did you need to use numbers to swear?

  • It's called "Bad Leet Speak"! Deal with it!

  • Ok that flip was fucking unnecessary

  • Not quiet, the always kept it pretty much down to earth (As much as that is possible with MGS). Its in TTS that all this stuff was added (visually-stunning-effects). You won't find such unnecessary in MGS2 (Now I'm sure someone will come out with "Vamp can walk on Water" well that guy was meant to be a freak of nature).

  • ChaoticSerenity ,not only you are generalizing, but you are also speaking out of ignorance, without even looking at the previous games properly. If you were trying to support this scene with a false statement, you failed.

  • Oh, so we can't make jokes at the expense of our favorite games now? I guess humor is a lost art in the realm of Interwebs Serious. :D

  • It's hard to tell when you guys are making jokes or not.

  • I guess the first step in that would be to not take a game that includes an otaku woobie, a shirtless Alaskan sniper, and a cryptic tank driver whose names could be the headline article for an issue of National Geographic so damn seriously.

  • WHO FLAG THIS !!

  • wow what noob flagged this?

  • i love watching mgs cutscenes so movie like!

  • If you pay attention to how the scene is presented when they talk about the password, their tone of voice changes, and you hear the security camera slightly make a noise and move towards the enterance and the camera zooms out towards snake's view, aka repesenting that they knew snake was right outside listening.

  • who flagged this!!!!!!!!!????????????

  • Some faggot

  • @KINGCRUNK404 flaggers

  • Hardly. They knew Snake was listening, and needed him to know the warhead was active. The warhead was inactive, and FOX-HOUND didn't know how to activate it. They probably knew how the override system worked. If Snake knew, and he believed the warhead was active, he'd think the override would deactivate it. A classic Xanatos Gambit.

  • Actually, let me clarify what I said. The terrorists knew that triggering the override system would toggle the warhead status, whether from "off" to "on" or vice versa. What they didn't know was HOW to trigger it. They were relying on Snake to find out, and then trigger the system, thinking it would disable the warhead.

  • CIR229, let me explain... It's true that Revolver Ocelot and Liquid Snake didn't have the PAL codes. But Solid Snake thought they already had them. They took advantage of Solid's ignorance. Decoy Octopus (disguised as Donald Anderson) told Solid Snake that they needed to PassWords to launch the Warhead. Donald Anderson knows one and Kenneth Baker knows the other one. Octopus told Snake that they already got his PassWord and Baker was forced to reveal the PassWord because of the torture.

  • Actually, Ocelot was talking about the "two passwords" mentioned by the DARPA chief and the president of Armstech.

  • who flagged this!!!!!!!!!????????????

  • Someone who needs death to be served to them.

  • Check out Solid Snakes ariel cartwheel at the start.

  • what sort of fag flags this?

  • damn snake kan jump high.. he got ups

  • OF all the other videos to flag, why this one? Like, there are other videos in this series with blood and gore and shit and if you are gonna flag a video that does no one any harm whatsoever, flag one of those, you lifeless asshole.

  • I didn't see any blood or fowl language in this video.

  • This is such a good clip! As for everyone's question,...yes,..that is a very good question. Who the heck flagged this as inappropiate? This clip doesn't contain any form of disgusting blood, gore, or any type of sexual lust. Why is this clip flagged? That just totally puzzles me!

  • Me too.

  • snake got the dominant genes huh?? poor bastard.

  • Yes, The jump, and the "Jumpy" shoot of Ocelot are wierd. But the scene with Ocelot and Liquid is more real.

And the actors voice are more good.

  • what G-tard flages this? who ever it was, he/she probably sas no life.

  • LOL. The guy that flagged this has no life.

  • some gaytard flagged this...theres an way to unflag?

  • Which dumb fuckhead flagged this as inappropiate? So Fucking sad!!!!

  • which nerdtard fuckhead flagged this? TO ALL YOUTUBE IDIOT NEWBIES: FLAGGING VIDEOS DOES NOT MAKE YOUR "RESPECT RATING" LARGER!

  • Some faggot who didn't want to give terrorist any ideas. <_<

  • who flagged this?

  • a retard.......thats it....a reatard.

  • yeah definetely man

  • Liquid Snake originally has brown hair,he just dyed it to not be confused with Solid Snake and to probably impersonate Master Miller. In the briefing Colonel Campbell said that Liquid's skin tone is different but other than that they are exact duplicates. Snake's hair is brown in both the original and TTS. The lighting effect in the original is what makes his hair look blonde. If u don't think I'm right buy the Metal Gear Solid artbook and it shows both Solid and Liquid with long hair.

  • Liquid's hair was always blonde, as blonde hair is a recessive trait.

  • Why is this flagged inappropriate?

  • how did u make this? comment me or message me and give me details please

  • i cant remind now...in ps1's mgs was snake jumping like that in that cut scene?

  • Snake cant do that freaking jump around the door in-game, it's a freaking insult to put that in there, that's what was so cool about MGS, the cutscene situations fit very well with the gameplay, but now the cutscenes are completly off in atmosphere.

  • that jump was wierd, but the scene with Ocelot and Liquid is soooo much better than the original MGS version, instead of just standing there like statues they have more Nuances etc.

  • MGS TTS ONLY came out for the GameCube, T'was a Nintendo Exclusive. MGS 2 SOL, was a PS2 Exclusive as Substance was but later came on Xbox (The Original Xbox) And PC, So there you go, And the obvious... MGS 1 was a PS1 Exclusive, then went onto PC but t'is very hard to find!

  • cool jump over the door

  • isnt that the same type of jump that Raiden does?

  • i think so...

  • but the mgs2 is for gc ps2 and pc is it?or you only have the mgs2 for ps2?

  • mgs2 never came out for Gamecube. As far as I know it is only on PS2 and Xbox. I only own it for Xbox since I don't own a PS2 system.

  • when will you upload the videos of mgs2 ?

  • Not until the Xbox360 can play it. My original xbox broke and I don't have a ps2 (gasp!).
