Mic placement: Through hole in front head facing beater (inside the drum slightly)

Mic: Some very cheap apex drum mic.

EQ: What you gotta do is find the ugliest mid's and by putting them all the way up, then when you find them, you drop them all the way down. This has a slight raise in the hi's and lo's.

I don't remember exactly what i did, but i'm sure you could experiment!

I only directly mic'd my Snare and Bass, and i used 2 room mics to try to catch the rest of the kit, that's why the toms are sort of faded, and sometimes the cymbal hits aren't picked up very well.
