Holy cow, Obama's approval rating is now at 82%!!!! That's more than 10% higher than Clinton used to get -- even at the height of impeachement, Clinton was pulling down approval numbers over 70%. But 82% is unbelievable. That's almost FOUR TIMES the approval rating of George W. Bush.
what's with Republicans and their talking puppets constantly bragging how we were NOT attacked since 9-11. Well, Sherlock...since we were attacked while Bush was in the WH the 1st time...if we were attacked...he'll be impeached faster than he could invade another country.
Terrorism might have been a thing of the past in our country....but it went up since Bush and his cronies spread their version of 'Democracy' across the globe.
george bush is the most hated man on earth right now, and in fifty years it will be the same. he destroyed our economy and completley destabilized the middle east, it is imposable to find anything truly positive in this mans presidency.
He ALSO wants us to forget just how much of a MONUMENTAL fuckup, bordering on CRIMINAL, he has been by trying to tell us how he kept us safe after 9/11 - as if we got attacked on a regular basis BEFORE 9/11!
And, IF ANYTHING, we MAY get attacked MORE in the future, for HIS actions, than we would have been, had he not been such an enemy-making warmonger. The people in charge of keeping America safe better be hyper-vigilant.
Weren't attacked after 9/11? How often were we attacked BEFORE 9/11? He wants to trick the American people into not placing blame on him for 9/11 by overemphasizing what happened to us AFTER 9/11...as if before 9/11 we were getting attacked on a regular basis. Simply FUCKING ABSURD.
WHAT ABOUT KATRINA?! Bush didn't keep any of those people safe...sending help a week after the hurricane had left. What about our drinking water that has an exponential amount of more arsenic, and mercury in it than before Bush took office? What about the fact the he's destabilized the HEART of the middle east, and an attack could still happen at any time? Just because he was lucky enough to not have to deal with another attack doesn't mean it can't happen again. He did nothing to prevent it.
Of course the government took national security a hell of a lot more seriously after 9/11 but the argument that Bush should be remembered for not letting another attack happen is like say "hey, at least the house is not on fire".
Conservatives also forget that 9/11 happened under Bush's watch so it leaves open the argument that it was his policies that failed to prevent 9/11.
Their first argument was the idea that we havent been attacked since 9/11.
When was the last time we were attacked on american soil before that by al qaeda?
It was rare.
But we have lost more soldiers and civilians to terrorists on Bushes watch then we did during all of clintons watch, and that doesnt include all the people we have killed, injured, and displaced on Bushes watch.
That also doesnt include all the injured soldiers and american civilians from our wars.
No doubt. The overwhelming majority of blacks on television news programs are Republicans, while the overwhelming majority of blacks in America are Democrats.
Whistling past the grave yard. The bush apologists are quaking.
I can only hope that Obama makes good on his campaign promise to investigate and if laws were broken, indict, investigate, incarcerate, impoverish, imprison.

First of all, could somebody tell me why anyone would care what these assholes think?
Secondly, is there anyone left who thinks "Bush's War on Terror" is not a scam?
I mean everyone knows it's nothing more than a giveaway to the Weapons and Security industries.

The Bush legacy?
If it was not so disastrous for the rule of law, the economy, human rights, the environment and America's role in the world, it would be hilarious.
The worst President ever.

Why does american life only matter on american soil?
And they point out that not being attacked on american soil is so important because citizens used to expect an attack at any time?
It was Bushes fault for scaring us into thinking we would be attacked at any time even when there was no proof of it.
They had their color codes which were only used "coincidently" when the repubs needed a boost.

Yeah, that is odd but true how I think most minorities on the news are conservative, completely unrepresentative of the american population.
But, to be honest, isnt there also not a single minority race journalist or pundit on the major news channels?
All the minorities are guests of one kind or another.

George Bush's legacy !?!?!
He should be under indictment for war crimes.
There is no statute of limitations for murder.
For as long as he lives he will be subject to indictment, in some civilized country, wherever that might be.
Investigate, prosecute and punish all war crimes.
