If you're going to get the version 2 model with built in remote control receiver then I'm afraid the last I heard it doesn't work with Linux.

Thanks for sharing. This is exactly what I was looking for. I want to get Asrock ION 330 but did not know if the remote would work with Ubuntu. :)
