Remixing, sampling, and covering are rarely about improving on the original. Often it's a tribute. Often it's because an artist thinks it would be cool to translate a song to a different genre. Sometimes it's because the covering artist is not very creative. Sometimes it's just for money. I highly doubt very many artists say, "this song sucks; I'm going to spend time, money, and energy remixing it."

Not that good at all really. He's used the original song for the intro and for build up to the second drop, but uses nothing of the original song in the main parts of the song. I was expecting a remix?
