Great job - would have preferred Van Halen to move more in this heavier sounding direction on the record, OU812 is the worst 'sounding' album to me - i.e. I think its full of great songs but the production isn't my cup of tea, for instance "When Its Love" is a great song but that heavilly reverbed synth percussion ting (don't know how to describe it) throughout the song really irritates me...

Good job, but why did you leave out the solo? Your vocals are really well mixed in the track. I personally disagree with the idea that Hagar is a better singer than Roth. To me, Roth could sing better, he just couldn't sing as high pitched as Hagar. For example, Roth probably couldn't sing dreams in the same octave as Sammy, but he could still sing it. I think Dave had a better vibrato and falsetto than Sammy. Anyway, you sound about as good as Sammy.
@zackvanhalen Thanks Zack !!...yeah...I was gonna do a solo...but not a note for note copy....I decided against it when I couldn't get the backing chords right...but I had to put in that majestic sounding end part of the solo. Yeah, I should change that..they are completely different singers...different , not better than...Thanks for the cool comment...but me as good as Sammy ?....no chance bro !!
