Such a marvelous story and magnificent footage! Thank you for sharing this! I am reminded of a time when something very similar happened to me involving a family of otters I discovered while hiking in a semi-remote area about 25 miles from my home here in Vancouver, Washington. I was surprised to find these wonderful creatures and overjoyed to be able to photograph and film them. I am going to upload a video and slideshow of them someday. You inspire me! Thank you!
@rovingrepairbot Just love ur enthusiasm & love of life & nature. So contagious. And thank u, my friend, for ur kind words. I loved doing this video. No matter how many times I "call in" wildlife, I'm always speechless & honored when they come closer to connect w me. It's SUCH an honor to be trusted by them. AND I'd LOVE to see a video of ur otters. They're so playful & curious. Ur nature vids r FABULOUS. I encourage you to do more!! U've a natural talent 4 them. They;re GOOD :)
@CHINNUJACK Love the way you worded this. Yes, we are guests in the wild world. And we are usually chosen. Wildlife is very smart and they know who they usually know who they can trust. It is a great honor to be "chosen" and trusted by the wild creatures. And I LOVE how you said "Wildlife is the home of meditation." THAT is beautiful and so so true. Blessings my friend. :)

Beautiful video, a healing process when contact with Nature begins...
@Susanna129 - Dearest Zuzanna, You are always part of me, no matter how long we go between contact. You always will be. This note of yours reflects your ability to love unconditionally, with a truly compassionate and open heart. I thank you from my heart for all the beauty you have brought into my life. There were so many days that you kept me going. I loved the poem you wrote in reply to me. It so generously loving. Much love to you dear friend, Robin <3
@RainforestRobin ~ Dear Robin, it is such a busy time for me here on You Tube. I was ill for a while and had to go away from the SU. There was to much for me so many wants and was not able to cope with all the requests. I am glad I left from there because i was called to a different mission over here. Now I have a directions in my life and what the Great Spirit wanted me to do. People need LOVE............More in next post...Love you, Zuzanna
@RainforestRobin @~ Post 2.) I have not realize how busy I will be here with the You Tube and the songs.
Working with a singer Dave Lennard from Scotland. He sings like Elvis Presley and people demanding songs from him. I am helping to build videos for him to make the complete set. It has been really great response for the last two of his songs. I am far from bragging but it is all visible that anyone can check. Sending much love, I will never forget you...You are in my heart...Love Zuzanna
You got excellent shots of it. I can't believe it got so close to you. I know the camera was zoomed but still, it was coming right toward you! Nice video.
@LadyGardenHoe - Yes, the 1st beaver swam within to me, stopped & looked at me. He was 3' from my bare feet. I thought he was going to come right up & sniff me. Most of the other beavers all swam within 10' of me. It was just amazing. If you click "Info" under the post and then "Show More" you can read about that day. It was TRULY a magical moment. I 've called in many wild creatures. crows, ducks, wallabies (when I lived in Australia), beavers, & others. Wildlife is such a gift.
@angelgirls1980 - Yes, my friend, they are SO adorable. And to have them come within 2 feet of me was a profound honor. They normally stay hidden if people are around. So to have them each come up and check me out was just an unforgettable experience. I am so touched that you enjoyed them. That speaks highly of you and your ability to appreciate the beauty and wonder in our world. <3 Robin
@angelgirls1980 - Oh!! I am so GLAD the girls got to see this video. Children love nature and become so engaged by it, curious, and fall in love with Nature, if they are exposed to it. Bless you dear friend. :) :)
Oh Robin, this is so precious what an experience this must have been. You are an ambassador for wildlife and nature and it's the best education one can ever have.
@Aetopus SO touched by ur comment. It shows great sensitivity. I'll never forget this experience & the trust & curiosity the beavers shared w me. Being trusted by wildlife is the MOST powerful gift I've been given. It's also one that MUST be treated w great care & awareness on my part. But of course U, my friend, already know this so well. I LOVED what you said about it being "the best education". YES!!! When I lived wild in the Australian rainforest. It changed my life & world view. TY
@RainforestRobin - Hi Robin, I think you may have forgotten to approve my comment dear because I can't find it, lol. Besides being blessed with good health, two of the greatest gifts for me are the pleasure of watching wildlife in their own habitats, not caged, zoos,or theme parks, etc., and the other is gaining their trust. Jane Goodall taught me that; hence my love for primates. ;-)
@Aetopus - I LOVE this second comment of yours !!! You really "get" it. I can just feel that about you. I hope your comment is showing now. I can see it, but maybe you still can't :) :) Let me know if it's not showing, and I'll try to fix it. I approved but maybe there is a glitch. Both comments mean much to me. :)
@Madeleinespiritlove - Oh yes, my friend they are dear "little ones" aren't they?!! That is exactly how I feel about them. With your great love of nature and Mother Earth, this is very much the kind of thing you would do, talk to the wildlife around you. You voice is so soothing, they would instantly love you. Just to hear you talk about nature is to know that you are a safe person. Huge hugs and love to you. Robin <3
@bellamoonnature - Hello dear Bella. I once lived in Australia, in the Daintree Rainforest of Queensland. I LOVED it. My book, "Naked in Eden" tells about my adventures there. Australia is one of the coolest places on earth. I loved the people, so warm and friendly. I the wildlife is just soooooo incredible. I loved it all. Lots of love right back to you dear soul. <3 Robin
@RainforestRobin ~ Hello Dear Robin, I saw your introduction to your book, and it sounds amazing. Your story telling draws the listener in ~ I was enthralled. I have been to the Daintree. Isn't it something ~ Yes Australia is very cool and unique. We are very blessed 'down under'. So look forward to viewing more of your fabulous, exciting adventures. So thrilled we connected. Enjoy your day.
Spectacular footage Robin! How fortunate you were to be able to witness these beautiful animals going about their business. They seemed so calm and unconcerned with your presence... as if they instinctively felt a kindred and peaceful spirit in you. Many evening I've spent along riverbanks as the night closed in around me, just sitting and simply watching these amazing creatures... brings back many contented memories. Thank you :-)
@intenseangler - Hey my friend, loved ur comment, as usual. So lovely. Ur connection to the wild is palpable in all u write & share. This comment alone reflects your connection & respect. It really was so soothing, even healing just being with the beavers. I know u understand this, from ur time with them. Although beavers r very industrious, they'r also incredibly peaceful. I love how they "hang" in the water, appearing not to move tail or feet. Love their webbed hind feet. TY. U R a blessing.
@Waldhandwerk - Thank you dear Sepp! It was indeed a GOOD time. So amazing. But then you know well the joys of the wild. So love your videos, my friend!! :) :) Hugs, Robin
@Ggreenvideos - Hi Ggreen. I too was enthralled watching them, and yes you are right, they are very funny at times. One of them that I didn't get on film as he was too quick, got tangled up in an underwater branch that was floating hear the surface. I chuckled watching him trying to shake it off. Wish I'd had THAT on film!!! Thanks for stopping in. :)
Wonderful video and the natural sounds in the background set a beautiful tone. I'm a firm believer that when one can walk softly and project a peaceful aura, we can reach a state of being that the local citizens accept as one of their own. The wizened ones know. You kindled a very special friendship with a caretaker of the ponds. : )
@saradreaming - Dear Sandra, I walk barefoot everywhere in the wild, have since living in the rainforest. I can sneak right up on wildlife if I'm down wind of them. They never hear me. I also agree with you that if we project a peaceful aura, that wild beings lose their fear and return to there natural curious state. Love how u said: "we can reach a state of being that the local citizens accept as 1 of their own." SO beautiful! Yes, they r smart. They know. Bless u dear friend 4 seeing. :)
Spectacular! It's very special to see a beaver during the lit hours of the day or dusk. They are very active in the evening after the sun goes down and night falls. I have only got a few rare chances to see them up close when there is still light. In the evening, when I take walks along the Rio Grande, I can hear the loud "ker-plunk" of their tails slapping the river. Truly a great video capture! Thumbs up!
@CrazyTaileZ - I LOVE this comment!! It truly reflects ur close relationship w nature. U R amazing!! :) Yes, beavers are generally nocturnal. That is why I was SO surprised that they came out when I started to talk to them. Allthough I couldn't yet see them, I COULD feel them watching me. I've only glimpsed them at dusk and they were hiding on the far side of the pond. I so enjoy your insightful comments & ur BEAUTIFUL videos. UR love of the wild is SO palpable. Thank you my friend. :) :)
This was SUCH a beautiful interaction Robin! I loved seeing the beavers get so close and it was obvious they were curious and felt safe. We have a beaver swimming by the shore us sometimes in the evenings, it is so beautiful to watch. And we have the same ducks and their babies swimming around too, making for such moving experiences that enrich the soul.
@EvitaOchel - Oh my dear sweet friend, I KNOW how much you love the wild world & all the little critters around u. I am sooooo happy that u have the opportunity to live where u DO live, & that u also have beavers & ducks there. You know, u r REALLY right about them enriching our souls. The weeks after I filmed this family of beavers, I walked around sooooooooo happy. I could NOT stop feeling them. They had become part of me. I knew w/o doubt that they are, a part of myself. Love always, Rob.
