Animal commercials are used by just about every phone company. Bell has it's beavers, Fido has it's dogs, Telus has it's hippos and such. People don't pick companies because they like the mascot...Telus was one of the last companies to get the iPhone, beat for its more superior competition.

Fido: Cute puppies, 2 year contracts, about $70/month, great customer service, Sim card, Fido dollars

Telus: Wide array of animals, 3 year contracts, $190/month, shitty service, no Sim.

Fido is the clear winner. Everyone I know who was on Telus hated it, and with good reason.
