Its a strange type of game. at parts it feels like a banjo game, and at parts it feels like a racing game. for 1, it would be better if it was set in spiral mountain, L.O.G didn't exist and you actually jumped around and had some decent moves

Rare put themselves in this mess by making it look like a platformer. Nuts and Bolts is a fun, creative game, just not a banjo-kazooie game. Platforming feels like it's been dead for too long, and Rare had the chance to bring it back - if anyone could do it, Banjo and Kazooie could have.

But nope, had to go with vehicles... which is fine on its own, but as a Banjo game? No, I want an ACTUAL Banjo Kazooie game...

Just think about how EPIC a Banjo Kazooie on the 360 could have been? Graphics, puzzles, worlds, music, it could have been perfect for Banjo Kazooie...

...just goes to show ya Rare was afraid a platformer Banjo Kazooie 360 wasn't gonna sell very well and so, tried a different approach, hoping to reel in the xbox gamers. Unfortunately they got a lot of angry Banjo fans and very few supporters. Decent reviews however retail says it only made about 140,000 copies sold. The world sucks.

I disagree. I think it is different enough from the mascot platformer it used to be to distinguish itself from that category. It seems to be more of a vehicular puzzler with platformer touches.

Bill Gates wouldn't have anything to do with game development so I don't understand how your hatred of Microsoft would affect the quality of this game. People tend to forget Banjo Tooie, for a reason probably. Rare put themselves in trouble, Microsoft bailed them out and gave them a second chance.

Nintendo did not develop Banjo-Kazooie, it was Rareware. That means that when Nintendo's ownership of Rare ended Rare could do games for whatever platform they wanted. They chose the 360, probably because it is more powerful than Nintendo Wii, and of course they wanted to choose a platform where they can use their 3d graphics at it fullest, since Nintendo doesn't want to keep up with the next-gen consoles, which is a shame, I used to like them.

Its those little things, the audio, the music, the sound effects that made the classics so memorable. I would have rather seen HD updates on XBLA then a completely new game but oh well. Platformers aren't my thing anymore. I wish them well.
