This game used to terrify me when I was a kid. Also, why is it that so many old Genesis game bosses were freakin' creepy as hell? Wiz'n Liz and Dynamite Headdy come to mind...
Apparently they changed a lot of stuff in the game -- for one, Stark's Machine WAS an optional enemy midway through the first stage, and wasn't the boss -- Primeval was the boss. The original arcade game wasn't very long to begin with (but still very tough), so I'm guessing they fleshed it out for the benefit of home players.
Music's good -- as I found out, the same three composers who would write the score for "Shinobi III" arranged Toki's original arcade music for the Genesis version.
Is there anyone who can help me? I've ben looking for a genesis/md game that I used to have, but the problem is I've forgotten the title.
The game is about a guy (he wears a straw hat, btw) who's gotten cursed and anyone that's around the guy attacks him. He uses a frisbee (or something like it) to defend himself.

i just played it for the first time since 12 years of so :D and got to the endboss, butt he is so badass, no chance for me.... youre right, great game, great music!

I dunno but when I see "Stark" on the boss names' the only thing that pops to min mind is Tony Stark.

Japanese version is called "JuJu densetsu" and english version is "Toki".
If you want to play this game on your PC you can download it's "rom image" from websites. You will also need to download Mame emulator.
