actually the horse isn't supposed to be going fast otherwise it will refuse the jump or knock down a pole. you must always keep your reins shortened or the horse will sense hat the rider is weak and just take off.
ScarletPony.. it's not just about short reins. I have a tendency to ride my horses with a little longer rein and they have NO problems jumping Level 7 +. It depends on the horse's style. I know some horses who if you have too much contact it spooks them and they refuse. Then others if you just drop them, they refuse. So I wouldn't say you must always keep your reins short.. each horse has a different style as does their rider.
and some horses have really soft mouths so you cant ride them on the bit . you have to ride with your seat and keep your reins loose... my four year old is like that... it depends on the horse and how they were trained
I think the rider should have giving the horse more of a release but since I've never ridden horse and he looks like a realy forward mover it must have been necessary (SP). Maybe it's just a personal pref. but yeah thats what I think lol. I love the riders let though!
Can I use it for a video?

Nice Jumping. Very good.

Excellent! Do You think paint horses would be good for Show Jumping?
KayleighYoung0 2 years ago
For lower levels maybe. Paint horses aren't bred to be show jumpers, so they can only handle so much with their build.
FuzzyPinkSquirrels 2 years ago
@FuzzyPinkSquirrels But that doesnt mean that they can't jump. Any horse can jump if trained correctly ;)
SelmerLibertyOwner 1 year ago
@SelmerLibertyOwner
not every kind of horse is a talent in jumping and not every horse is able to do it, because of his anatomy.
Paint horses are more for westernriding, because of their high reaction and so on..

That horse is a great jumper, Is she an Oldenburg, Holsteiner or Trakhener? The rider should give the horse some more reins!
daneycia 3 years ago
dont try this at home kids o.O lol
BloodElvesRuleWoW 3 years ago
it looks like the rider is afraid of the horse going to fast and getting exicted,, give a bit more rein ok, your riding should be better

Agreed...each horse likes something different. A lot of horses like contact because its there way of support for jumping but some don't like it..
