Some people are ignorant and don't understand what kata is for. Learning a punch, kick, block, throw, submission slowly will make you understand the mechanics of it so when it comes time to do it fast it is effective. Anyone can flail but a martial artist fails with precision. Beautiful form.

Ippon seoi nage is one of the most potent (in not the most ) techniques in streetfighting . How slow in a fight? This is a kata matter a fact the Nage No Kata. So its not about speed but mainly demonstration of the principles of breaking balance, entry, and then the throw. This is usually only a fraction of the test the other part is a writing exam, performing 40 throws 15 of them left and right side, perform 8 chokes, 8 arm bars and escapes and counters from various throws pins chokes and locks.
The dojo is in the back of a house. It's basically a converted large garage.
Don't know about the motorcycle in the back. I never went back to inspect it while I was there.
The person taking the test is the big guy standing in the center at the beginning. For the most part he is the person doing the throwing. I think in one of the later videos, he may be demonstrating falls as well though.
