@lovearchives If you truly want to know the truth. You have to be prepared to purified your body in order to have direct contact with the Buddha Nature or the Kingdom of God which is within you, by not consuming meat ( negative energy) and to meditate on the Inner Light and Sound. Please read my home page for more info.
(continued) Instead of wasting every minute of my life trying to work it all off by myself because it has already been accomplished for me. Why not moving on with life with thankful heart, by enjoying every minute of it and knowing that I am not alone on my spiritual path and my Creator, who is "external" of me, walking alongside me.
(continued) Maybe ego is not such a bad thing after all.
But, coming to think of it, what a lonely path that was! Sounds almost depressing to me.
Well, what if I let go of my ego right now, by humbling myself and admitting that I am sick and I need help. The back breaking arduous work has already been done for me and all I have to do is let go of myself and accept the free gift with thankfulness. Give the credit to my Creator; then, go and live my life to the fullness of joy and peace. Inst
It is because of my ego that keeps me from humbling myself and admitting that I cannot do this all by myself and that keeps me believing that I can achieve a higher state of being without relying on any body else but me. And if I can reach nirvana or the ultimate state of cosmic consciousness or nothingness, then I will become like God, knowing good and evil and have the power to free myself from human suffering and become one with the universe, all by myself. What a perfect plan! Maybe ego is
Also, I really appreciate the message in the second part of the video I just loved it when he explained about Satan which is in fact our ego. Whoa! I learned so much about ego in Buddhism as well as in my personal experience, but I have never put the two together.
Well, it actually urges me to think in the following way:
(continued) Could you also explain the account in the gospel of John, chapter 19 verses 33-34? It goes," But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water." Based on this account, Jesus was "clinically" dead. So what was he doing in Nepal after the crucifixion. That was so confusing to me.
( continued) did not exist. Is it okay to lie sometimes?
So when Jesus said in the gospel of John that, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Was he just blatantly lying, too? So the whole book of Bible is nothing but lies or maybe some of it? I don't know about you but I think what it takes to overthrow a whole system is just a tiny piece of lie. ( to be continued)
I appreciate the messages including facts, assumptions, opinions and all that from the video.
I had fervently studied and practiced Buddhism myself for a number of years but still there is always room for new lessons.
One of my questions is at around 3.16th minute; a visit at Hemi's monastry in Ladakh, Because I learned from Buddha's teaching about lying, I was a bit confused when I listened to the monk saying that they would directly and blatantly lie to you that the scroll in question di
@francessica I also believe that Jesus, buddhas and all great masters, past and present have the cosmic connection , as shown in old religious paintings, where ufos are included.
Dr Harefield is wise :) I have had the blessings to study the teachings of the buddha and the practices for a year now and yes Jesus was a great Bodhisattva and a Buddha who had taken others' suffering so to bear it himself and to give them happiness... that is true love and compassion, wanting all motherly beings to realize their ultimate nature of being... wisdom, compassion love indivisible.... so beautiful
If one reads the Gospel of Thomas, the similarities seem very obvious. Of course it's not possible to say what happened for sure (or even if the Christ existed at all in this way), but this story makes a lot of sense. Yeshua would have had to deliver the teachings in riddles and parables back in Palestine to avoid the wrath of the Jews and Romans. I too have seen the similarities for years, but I didn't know til recently about the idea of the Christ in India. Makes perfect sense.
(continued)
Again, I really appreciate the messages from these videos. What a great insight. And thank you for any explanations you could give. Thank you!
