does yours have the elf single side swingarm? if so you have the 360 phased crank, same as the black vfr in this vid, model FL onwards. models FG-FK standard swingarm models single big headlight have the 180. They are very close sounding on vids, but in real life they do differ noticably in sound, especially in the mid/high revs, 360 sounds a bit more smooth sounding, very similar to the nc30 sound (400). Power delivery is very different to between them! (360/180)
I modified the exhaust so the muffler is on the swingarm's side. This way, the wheel on the right side is completely clean of anything. I've always thought honda should have built it this way in the first place.
I thought "v-4" was just something car newbs said until i learned about the VFR

All the 180 cam gear'd v4's sound like this.. the VFR400R NC21 & NC24 sound the same too :)
